Guys, one question. If i want to share a car with someone by giving it as a gift, and i want my car back after the trade.

How does it actually work.

I have copied mine original mainfile to an second account.

What to do from there, deleting mainfile on main account, and copying the old file from the second account. Does that work?

Also, why is it not possible to have 2 files at the same time, when i use mine second account to play GT5 with the original file, it never shows the current carreer i have been on. It actually starts over again. Can you only play one file at the same time on the ps3?

You need to back up the save to a USB.
Send the car, then delete save.
Recover previous save from USB.
Done, you've sent a car but still have it.

No to the only two questions you asked, but claim you have one question to ask at the same time.

I'm so glad there's no rewind in GT, that would feel so much like cheating.

That's not the question, if you can't read i would advice you to visit some optician.

I know its not the answer to the question, it is advice that will make your life better when you actually earn cars, instead of cheating to get them.

the reason people play video games is for enjoyment, and if you get pleasure of out thinking you do well because you abuse a glitch, something is wrong with you. and you need help. dont do it

Save your game to an external drive before you trade ( USB thumbdrive, CF card, Memory Stick, whatever ). After you trade reload from the same drive. If you have 2 accounts set up you have to use 2 drives. I use a USB drive and a memory stick to keep them separate. Easy enough.

First of all make your life better for yourself, second it's not cheating, the producer of this game, and there team did give us the oppertunity to copy our own file, in case when need, or when you want to do something. If it was a bug, or a fault by ''cheating'' the engine, the simply could have patched it, which the didn't.

No. they're trying to help people from losing their cars and save if something goes wrong, not trying to help people trade a car and still have it, some people abuse it, and now they may very well patch it, and people will complain when they lose their saves, and it will be because of people like you

BTW, Achillias, it is THAN not THEN in one post and THEIR not THERE in another. Who is dumb?

Why can't you people answer a simple question without passing judgement? Nobody asked for your opinion.

Are you dumb, if you readed properly, you could have seen, that i'm referring to a guy. His only answer was off-topic and trolling. I'm not the one pointing at someone when making an misspelling (in an different language) or correcting someone on it, so for your own sake think before writing someting.

But yes people should just stay on-topic.

Surely the "cheat" has existed in every Gran Turismo? I used to regularly copy my saves onto numerous memory cards for others to play, if people wish to not play the game properly then that is there choice, they paid for the game like everyone else. They're only cheating themselves from the accomplishment of anything. The "gifting" was made into trading by people, I never saw it as intended to be a trading system because if it was I'm sure it would have been more smoothly applied with a better restriction instead of 1 car per day (now per 24 hrs).

My own second account :).

Then simply add yourself on both accounts.
Say you want to send car X from account 1 to account 2.
Make a backup of a save from account 1 on to a USB.
Send the car from account 1 to account 2.
Delete the save from account 1 and copy the backed up save from the USB to account 1.
Both accounts now have car X.

Yeh ok,but should it also work theoritical if you make a backup from account one, copying it to account two and then sending the car to account two, then deleting the file on account one, sending the file back from account two to account one on an backup?

No.
Save files only work with the same PSN accounts that they are registered with.

Yes therefore, after you have stored your mainfile (from one account) on account two, you just send it back to your original account (instead of usb) to let it work?
