Hey all, just a quick question I'd like to know the answer to please. I tried searching through the forums and couldn't really find any topics on it.

How do you duplicate chrome paint chips? I'm sure I've read people here saying how they've been able to do it, so is there really a way? :dunce:

Thanks 👍

1. Backup the save on main GT5 account.

2. Remove USB with good save on it.

3. Launch game.

4. Send paint to your other account.

5. Quit game.

6. Delete save file.

7. Insert USB then copy the good save.

8. Go sign in to other account and send the paint back to your main account.

9. Now you have more paint then you started with. 👍

Edit: Beaten to it! ^^^

Its a little long winded but i would imagine....

1. Aquire chrome paint item.
2. Backup your save file to a memory stick.
3. Send paint to a friend or another account you have (i have two users set up on my PS3, one for myself and one for my missus, switching between these is very easy).
4. Reload your save from memory stick and overwrite your current one.
5. Upon strarting the game, you still have the original paint chip, and the person you sent it to will have it also.
6. Get them to send it back to you, and now you have two chips.
7. If desired, repeat again, but this time send two chips out, and receive two back, giving you four in total. And again for a total of 8.

Sorry for digging this up again but I though since there is a 1 trade limit you can only trade one paint chip.
Also a side note if you trade to someone can you receive it back or that a limit too?
Btw I just got a gold crome so thats why I am digging this up again.

Every day you can send:

1 car or ticket
5 paints
5 Museum cards
5 tuning parts

If you trade something to someone of course they can send it back as long as they did not reach their daily limit. Never ran into a limit for receiving goods.
