Well. I think where that location is.

That is South Spain, in a region called Andalucia. That place is close to a small village: Montejaque, surrounded by many rocky mountains in Grazalema's Natural Park.

I usually mountain biking in the area, so I't wasn´t difficult to recognize the location.

This time of the year, it's very usual to see different car's makes testing their new cars here. Yesterday I saw 20 Mazdas.

Best Regards

Well spotted, Nikel.

And here on a screenshot I took on google maps, we can see the same stone wall as in the picture:

For reference, the coordinates are 36° 45' 12.41" N 5° 14' 22.94" W.

Also, close by there are:
2 track days circuits

Monteblanco Circuit

Ascari Race Resort

And, of course.

Jerez Circuit

Discuss.

Usually, we get photomode locations because they're of any relevance to the automotive world or are close to a racing track (although we do get some locations just because they're breathtaking). Ahrweiler, for instance is in GT5 because it's the name of the district where the Nurburgring is at. Maybe the proximity of 3 racing tracks to this location isn't just a coincidence?

Do you have a picture/video? Or can anyone else confirm this?

There were several weather location names cycling on the GT5P main screen: Brands Hatch, Daytona Beach, Estoril, Fuji, Hockenheim, Imola, Jerez, Le Mans, Magny Cours, Monte Carlo, Monterey, Monza, Motegi, Nürburg, Shanghai, Silverstone, Sonoma, Spa, Suzuka, Tsukuba, Zolder.

-Estoril
-Hockenheim
-Imola
-Sonoma(infenion)
-Magny Cours
-Zolder
-Jerez
-Brands Hatch

Unconfirmed Tracks

Steady on there, just because they were used as weather locations in GT5:P that in no way says they're tracks they've actually worked on building.

While I agree with you, I sure wouldn't mind them as photo locations.

Was nikel actually ;)

Thanks.

And yes, that is an old dam that never got used.

There are very nice roads in that area. Very narrow and with a beautiful scenery. Small white villages with very little traffic.

Amazing that PD thought about this place.

Cheers
