Stock Races?

Found a way to make the game fun....getting in a stock car and taking it to a race and trying your best..

In my case I had a R32 GT-RN1 i had wanted to drive ...So I took it to the 500 PP seasonal at Trial Mtn. After 4 of 5 laps it was done to me and the Esprit 350.
.took him from the inside on the 3rd from last curve ..so awesome to have a duel instead of a rabbit chase or a boring win.
 
yes this is how the game meant to be played i think

i enjoy stock cars with standard tires the most
 
This is nothing new. People have been doing this for awhile now.

Yeah, I do this all the time. Also, I try staying away from using the X1 in A-Spec and preventing myself from getting any higher than 130% on the log in bonus helps make the game more challenging and pro-long the life of it.
 
Plus i think this way lets you feel the character of the car and not the tuning or tires. Like the M3 i tried today ...turned laps at the same times at my STI Spec C but totally different driving lines...clipping points...
 
This is how I play the game 50% of the time.

The other 50% is tuning cars that doesn't touch HP (engine/exhaust/intake/turbo-SC). It's so much fun and WAY better than 'cheating' by giving a car 200+ extra HP.
 
This is almost the only thing I do... All driver skill.

I was just in a room like that a couple nights ago. All we were doing was changing the PP limit and track now and then. Had a lot of people in the room and were having fun. I just kept getting bonked into the wall by the people who couldn't stay on the road.

NSX-R is a good car for that race too btw...
