Does the F1 ever wear out?

I've searched but can't find an answer.

The F1 can't have an oil change or its body re-aligned. Does this mean it's destined for the scrap heap after a few races? I'm the proud owner of a shiny new one, and before I thrash it on a dirt track or the drag strip I want to know if special care and attention is the sensible strategy for such a delicate piece of kit?

I have one with 18,000 miles on it and it still has the same hp and drives fine. The only thing is it has slowly lost resale value. It started out at 1.5 million credits and now it's down to about 1.2 million.

exactly. Mine has round 35.000km and is stil same HP and same fast.

soo... this is the only car with real depreciation of value? and its the only car that doesnt get worse?

oh great realism there PD :grumpy:

id like for the game to have alot more realism when it comes to the values of cars... like if i buy a car and never drive it... sell it two days later... its still only sellable at a ridicculusly low price... and if i drive it for 60000000miles it will still be the same price... 👎

Not really. I have two F1 cars, One has those 35.000km and other has 0.0km, never been used. It still has same price ~1.7mio if I sell it.

Since they removed the ability to change oil on it, it is fine with me that it does not degrade over time.

I am still pissed that you can't purchase other racing tires for it.

Those F1 cars....can we buy new tires?
And Turbo and NA tune? can we?

If not....how can i make 1 24h nurburing with 1 F1?..

I already see that we can't change the oil......scrapppp

What a fantastic job of reading the entire 1/2 page thread. :dopey:

This is not true.

I drove my MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V for 8500+ miles, and that's when it reached its minimum horsepower and minimum sell price.

I assume other cars would behave like that too.

Also, it was a gradual depreciation. It didn't go from the original sell price (new, at 0.0 miles) to ~100,000 credits less (old, at 8500 miles) all at once. It depreciated gradually.
