I have posted a translation already for the controls, but as I start to do more, I felt that I need to collect them into a thread, so it would be easier to see.
I apologize for poor image quality, but I am sure you will be able to see it. I just took it with phone (I can you can tell either from quality - or lack thereof - or from imageshack info.)

NOTE: The zoom and confirm are present in multiple screens and menus, and so far, I have tried zoom in just about every one of the screens and they seem to work. Although in the race options menu, they cycle your menu choices as you zoom but... Anyways, zoom works for showroom too, so happy viewing.
Sorry for the confusion, I want to clarify. The zoom function I am speaking of is similar to the Triangle button in replays, but works in the menus, and is mapped to R1. Works just about everywhere in the menu. I am thinking that some of the text are small, and PD thoughtfully provides a zoom function.
UPDATE: Apparently, it has been confirmed (thank you, VIPERGTSR01) that the zoom function is actually absent when running on HD, and only appears on SD, which makes sense!

Some have asked about the simulation choice. I labelled it Simulation, as a direct translation. However, I should clarify that if the menus were localized in English, I would believe that it would say "Physics Mode" or something similar. It allows you to choose the type of physics simulated in the game. The first of the two options is a "standard" (direct translation - I am inferring that this refers to the GT:HD esque physics engine). The latter is the "professional" (direct again...I am inferring that this is the new GT5 engine).
