Standard Clean OLR Rules:


  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • no hybrids
  • no cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind. We will know.
  • nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • save your replay

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 23 Submission ) to (Vaxen):



  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag and final race time
  • Final race time = lap 1 + lap 2 + lap 3
  • the deadline is Monday 13 April 11:59pm GMT
  • if you are unsure of the deadline try this site



Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after your time has been submitted:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin Team, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Cant remember the exact digits and they wont show in the replay theatre? but here's the T2's from my best save so far .... lap2 - 38.8 / lap 3 - 38.8

Again its a wicked combo, will try again in the next few days 👍

Spent some time tuning the car and fastest lap in this 3 lapper sofar has been 1'08s

But on my fastest 3 lap race the fastest lap is 1.09.120

Next I'm testing the tunes in post #1 to see if I can gain more speed from them.

Feel free to use your own tune if you want to.

Like Max, I'm going start with my own little tweaks and move on to the tuner's setups.
I'm sure the tuners would like us to try their setups and give some feedback.

I gave this combo an hour session with a rear toe change and changed the final drive to hit a max speed of 190 mph in 5th gear.

Fastest lap so far is from fastest race.

1'09.567

Now to these tunes.
 
Did a quick session with my own tune and have a quick lap of:

Fasted Lap: 1'09.617

will try the other tune's during the week

+1, I like HSR, a very nice, smooth and flowing track which actually requires more skill than people realise because a slight mistake can be punishing.:)

Edit: Why did you have to make it for the title of most wanted tuner?:(

Some excellent times coming out already, I think my best lap at the moment is still a 1'09.1, but I'll have to look into that.:ouch:
 
Got a nice easy car to drive, but no real pace yet. 1.09.464

Just some rough laps with a rough tune. Tried the DC one, and it didn't work for me, which is odd, as they normally do. Found T1 tough to perfect.

Luxy isn't working for me atm.
 
Fastest lap so far: 1'09.708

Made some changes to the tune, but will test them a bit more. :)

EDIT: Changes applied over here.. Final changed to 4.038, brakes changed to 5/6.

Used the Dutch Customs setup and improved.
This setup turns nicely through the esses, needs to be driven a lane higher through the next right hander and near the bottom for entry into the last turn.
Not to sure about the gearing and/or the power to weight ratio though.
I switched back to my 5 speed and improved even more with consistency.
The consistency may be from more seat time.
