Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.
To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Page' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay' option.

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 101 Submission ) to (Vaxen):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    [Division#]---M'SS.XXX---GTP_Tag
    (Example-) [division 2]---1'44.678---GTP_EDK
  • You can submit only once
  • Please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag and final lap time
  • The deadline is Monday October 11th 11:59pm GMT
  • If you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:

GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Meh...

Easy to hit wall, yeah

Some first splits;

First splits on a nice combo.

T1: 26.341
T2: 42.869

Hating T2 already. 👎

T1: 0'27.561
T2: 0'44.445

Long way to go, especially at the first corner. Just when I think I've got it right, I promptly pinball off the next three corners.

This is my first time ever trying london in reverse...not going all that great in my first 30min stint...the barriers keep attracting my little orange st like a moth to a flame :(

Haven't seen anything below 45.xxx, so not even bothering posting for now

Watch this space, some improvement to come

Any tips will be appreciated :)

Hey racingfreak, the best and obvious tip is to watch the top 10 arcade replays for this combo. The one thing I try and concentrate on at this track is my braking points. Try and establish markers where you drop anchors and then play around with braking earlier or later to see where you can find time.

For example, on the approach to the last corner there is a manhole in the middle of the track...
Hope that helps.

T1: 26.711
T2: 43.222

sector 1 is a little too involved for me right now but I can see a few tenths.

Dan.

Hmmz last splits for today :(. Cant seem to find the right speed at T1. Should be atleast 0.2sec overall.

T1: 26.730
T2: 43.191

T1: 26.803
T2: 43.757

After a long, hard night of trying. Just as I was going to head to bed. This comes out of nowhere. .5 better than my previous best time.
So happy! :D

Edit: New splits on 2nd page.

15 Lap Trial out here in the ST, phew. Only had 2 "good" laps (clean), 13 laps of pinballing. Turned my TCS off, did 6 laps without that aid and pulled a better run although barely to what I see in this thread....

T1: 0'27.470
T2: 0'44.389

Manual with No Aids. Hmm. My replay showed some harsh shifts, although they looked right. Just something keeping me off right after the tight corners heading to the final turn.

First, splits ever submitted. :)

and I'm getting killed in the second sector!

T1: 26.941
T2: 44.396

It’s not the man-in-hole you have to watch out for, It’s the freaking big concrete wall on the right

Phillip.

Had time for 1 session today:

T1:0'26.452
T2:0'42.848
