Replay Checking:

It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays

When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

I really liked this combo, and the car wasn't that bad either considering. What a great call making this a tuning combo, because of that I think, that was the one thing that gave this event its flavor. I know it's more of a hassle and pleading for help w/ setups is humbling but when someone gives so freely that others might succeed, well those things are noble. Thanks again Kevin for the setup as a place to start from. I'd like to think that I make it mine but it's that starting spot that makes the difference 👍

Good fight spy, and only half a tenth at the line. I was afraid you were in the .7's or low .8 on T3, and I am sure you would be with some more patience

So I take the top spot. And I am stunned. I would like to think I have improved lately, but it is not long ago that I trailed far behind several of you guys. So I attribute this to luck, maybe I have just stumbled across an optimal tune, or been more used to slow FF's due to unhealty amounts of online shuffling...

Regardless, I am as proud as ever

Hi folks!

Well done everyone. I agree with Speedy, it wasn't an easy one to like.

I decided to try using the handbrake to get through the hairpins and did my best lap on my first go. Couldn't get the timing right after that and although I tried to beat it using conventional methods I couldn't get close to my T2 and T3 times.

Apologies in advance to whoever checks my reply, it's not pretty.

I thought I had a good T3 and it turned out it just wasn't anything special at all.
Overall, I'm very happy with my finishing position on a track that can be deceivingly difficult.

I'm well happy with my 3rd place - didn't think I had a hope of a podium this week. Reached my peak early in the week and despite some great splits, they were all isolated incidents and I couldn't tie a better lap together.

Congrats to Viper for the D2 win 👍 I'm just glad my 3rd sector was better :sly:

- Sweet lap Simon. Made it look fun too. 👍 I was surprised by how much you smoked the tyres. I was trying not to smoke them but obviously a bit of smoke was good. Love the chrome pink too mate. A well deserved win - enjoy it. :cheers:

- A nice tidy lap. 👍 Tsukuba really rewards late corner entry into all but the last bend. Big gains for wide in, early on the throttle. The last bend is the oppposite and staying tight on entry, then running slightly wide and coming back in on full power was the way to go. Simon did it almost perfectly if you have a look at his replay.

, thanks mate. Chase cam is deceptive in that it seems to slow everything down... I do try and keep everything smooth - its always tempting, particularly with a fairly low powered car on comfort tyres, to over drive it because it feels faster. Believe me though, I don't find any week easy when I'm at my limit. :crazy:

This was a crazy week. Before this week I thought that I'm just not fast enough compared to all the other good drivers in D2 to ever make it on the the podium, let alone winning D2.

I still can't believe that I really won D2 by 0.006 sec.

3---1'12.806---GTP_Slashko (Verified) - A nice tidy lap. Tsukuba really rewards late corner entry into all but the last bend. Big gains for wide in, early on the throttle. The last bend is the oppposite and staying tight on entry, then running slightly wide and coming back in on full power was the way to go. Simon did it almost perfectly if you have a look at his replay

Thanks for checking and for the tips. I always have problems with that last bend, never finding a way to drive through it properly. I will try to follow your advice for next attempts

Sweet lap Simon. Made it look fun too. 👍 I was surprised by how much you smoked the tyres. I was trying not to smoke them but obviously a bit of smoke was good. Love the chrome pink too mate. A well deserved win - enjoy it.

for your persistence and taking it this far, also recalling something about you and FF (love/)hate relationship.

I found the car needed some sliding to counter it's understeer. First corner was a make or break of each lap, I threw the rear a bit while trying to decelerate at the right rate, not too fast, and then regain balance at exactly the right spot for a late apex. It was not even perfect in this lap, looking forward to how Spy did his.

And yes, it is a first in several ways, have hardly even had a top 10 before.

Congrats to all, my middle sector was pretty decent but my first and last were lacking, looking at the replay posted by Vagabond I can see what I needed to do on the first corner, so thanks for that. See you guys in a week or so when Spa is over

I was surprised at my win in Div. 4 with "otxjot" ahead on the leaderboard. I had a good T3 and managed to beat him to the line.

Zip the entire replay folder, not only the one named 'REPLAY0'
