Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see replays for all indicated results. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

shows that the replay has been posted and verified.
rflagnv1.gif
shows that the submitted lap turned out to be dirty or doubtful.
bflagtp3.gif
shows that the replay has not been provided in due time.

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

At first I was disappointed with my finish, but upon further review, Litchi and Ron just killed it this week. Great job guys.

Don't for get about Matt. He had a great come from behind finish himself.

I suppose there is no way for me to fix this. I went to submit, and my first one with the correct time was rejected because I used the wrong format. Upon re-submitting, I accidentally entered the wrong time. (I looked at the wrong page on my notes) It was an honest mistake and I did submit in time, if that makes any difference.

Here is my replay. Great run Will and Matt. I knew my T3 would not stand up, an you guys nailed it. I was having a hard time through the Variante Ascari section and just couldn't figure out how to get through it quick enough.:banghead:

Congrats to all the podium finishers and those top two Div 1 guys. Give new meaning to the term Alien. Oh, and Will, special congrats on your overall podium. It's great to see a Div2 guy up there.

And to Mitch, sorry to see your time submission snafu. It looked like you were set for a division podium.:(

Here is my replay, and can't wait to see the other guys.

Here's my NTSC replay. No apologies this time, I worked hard to get as much time as I did out of this one.

Here's my replay (NTSC). It's pretty dodgy but I couldn't find any place where a wheel was clear of the track. First corner the tire is right on the edge but the slide carries it around without disconnecting as far as I can tell.

I'm normally Mr Conservative when it comes to this kind of thing, don't know what got into me :-)

Wow, amazing times up top. Will, you're far too good for us at the moment, crazy last sector!

My updated splits didn't get on the board for some reason, so my last sector wasn't that good compared to Will's. Happy overall and this is the first time I've ever done well at monza!

Replay to come later.
Matt

Thanks to all who submitted & well done podium finishers.
Great T3 times Litchi & Twissy - a close finish in the end.

PAL Replay:

Edit: Thanks Alan.👍

Thanks, that confirm what i just seen. I confess it was really close at Variante della Roggia and Ascari entries, exactly like you Alan, but clean 👍

By the way, I don't know how you can do smoke in turn 1. Is it an Active Steering's effect or anything else?

Probably - I was using AS Strong which kept things right on the edge - I admit I spent about 15 minutes with the camera on my own replay before I considered it clean having trashed several previous laps there.

Thanks for the check.

EDIT: Post Bump: Still waiting on an answer to this. The flag by my name indicates my time was not submitted in time, but it was. It was just the wrong time. Hoping there is something that can be done as I'd hate to see my weeks' efforts all for nothing just because of a simple mistake.

EDIT: Disregard my 1st edit. Matter is being looked into.

Living on the edge here ... if the wheel wasn't turned slightly it would be definitely off and as it is I wouldn't defend this one too hard.

I'd say that was clean, the question is what did it look like a meter before or after that point? ;)

The same as this ... as if it is certain to go off in the next meter or so :-) The only thing that keeps me on is the drift to the outside, if the car had gone where the front wheels were pointing it would have gone off.

Honestly I did try many times in the replay to catch it off and I couldn't but I wouldn't be in the least surprised if it did go off at some point.

Replay attached. Enjoyed this one, The F40 is a great car in arcade mode and this track feels just right for it.

Never got the hang of sector 1 all week, probably should have tried staying in 4th gear at least once....

Sector 3 on this lap has a close call on the exit of Ascari. I got the line all wrong and cost myself a little time. Fairly close too in the first chicane. Should be an easy verify otherwise.

Matt

... but I wouldn't be in the least surprised if it did go off at some point.
This is the point where following quote applies.
EDK
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
It's not about being clean or not. This is more going towards the point where you force somebody else, who is reviewing your lap, to go to the extreme to see if the lap was indeed clean.

Put yourself in that position and I bet you would rather skip reviewing a replay like that than to put 1 hour of your time in rewinding and pausing someone else's lap.

Anyway, the lap has been submitted and needs to be reviewed now. Just try and keep it in mind in the future.

I'm hoping they implement some sort of slow-motion, frame-by-frame, positional camera replay options in GT6 for situations like this.

From what I recall GT3 had slowmotion and frame by frame in the replays.
And even better,we could use the replaymanager, made by a GT Planet user Arwin,it could read everything you need from a replay.

All parts, weight,hp,all, and by all ,I mean all.:)
Color of the car,driven km,etc

Those were the days.;)

Are you trying to tell me something there? (In reference to my posts about hybridding) Sorry, you won't be able to see all.....thats why they call me "The Glimmer Man" I crack myself up sometimes.

Correct, not all but then again also alot.;)
Sooner or later there will be replaymanger for GT5, so saving replays
is important.

And my replay file, here you are.
(I felt the car every stint better and better. About 70 laps, I colud afford, resulted my time.)
See you again!
