Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

As per usual, will share the replay when I'm home. I was pushing so hard to get into the 48's - it's funny as when I first started I couldn't get out of the 50-52's, then once I pushed through and got my first 49, I stuck in that range... Just couldn't quite crack it properly.. ah well!

Congrats to the top guys there, nice times, and looking forward to seeing the other replays!

Quick calculation tells me that there is only 1 hundreds difference between Erik and mine last sector. Would love to see a overlay video of that.
 
I’ll post my replay after work today, even though I messed up my submission and it didn’t count. :)
 
I shared my replay last night with share tag gtpwrs090.

I walk the tight rope in the chicane exit at the start of the third sector. I checked it closely before submitting, and it's clean.

Big shoutout to you my friend for keeping me pushing and squeezing every hundredths of seconds out of this one.
You thought 0.01 was close in third sector,how about 0.011 on an entire lap? :lol:
It was a fun 'oldskool wrs week' for me.
And learned something about braking,allthough it took me 2300 km's to figure it out.
Congratulations all podium finishers and everyone who reached his goal.
I'll upload the replay within a couple of hours.

It’s all good, it was my own fault. I had submitted the lap properly, but then I tried the new combo for this week and sent the time to last week’s event by mistake and didn’t realize it until after the deadline so I couldn’t fix it. It was a bonehead mistake on my part, I should have made sure I was in the right thread when I clicked the Fetchy link, I won’t make that mistake again.

Edit: This was the lap, I was within a tenth and a half by the end of sector 2, but I lost half a second in the last sector to the top guys. I’ll have to check the replays later to see what they did differently.


It’s shared in game as well under the three tags in the first post of this thread. :)

Sorry to hear that mate but that explained it. I thought you did the last sector in reverse or something. Didn’t want to say a thing because I didn’t want to hurt your feelings :lol:

And please I have another doubt: i don't know if it's legal to have the two wheels of the same side of the car in the track, and the other two wheels of the other side of the car, out of the track (like half car out of the track and half of the car in the track)

When you click on replay at the top left, one of the options is to "Save Best Lap Replay". I believe it's the second option on the list.

What you say is legal, you just need to have the contact patch of 2 tires on legal track surface, which typically includes rumble strips.

For example, @Pigems lap is legal. Chicane entry around the 1:00 mark has 2 on red and white rumble and 2 off, and that is legal. Same toward end of lap around the 1:40 mark.
