I've found myself second quite a bit, but always behind someone different. I think I've just managed to somehow find a sweet spot in terms of a car setup, rather than the setup meeting demands for each circuit...
 
Points standings haven't been updated, I call favouritism towards RACECAR from Earth!

Flawless race by me , great race to watch throughout the field!

I believe I have a 12 point lead, so I need second if RACECAR wins. Otherwise, 9th will be enough :)

Good win and good championship, all you have to do is show up at this point. Nothing I do is gonna really matter.
 
Just like the GP last weekend, the leader was in another league but there were awesome battles throughout the field. Surprised to get a podium, didn't think my Spa setup would do me any good here. Congrats to Pezzarinho17 and Gerarghini on the other two steps on the podium.


I also have a suggestion for season 2. I'm not sure how rFactor works, but would it be possible to get speed trap readings (Or even better sector times) from practice? It would really help with setup, its hard to know what to change just looking at times. Of course if that's going to be a huge ordeal then don't bother, but I think it would be a nice touch.
 
I found setups to be difficult to begin with as I have no idea how to read those lap times on the scoreboard. I'm used to reading lap times in the 0'00.00 format so reading it in anything else kinda nullifies any work I put into it. If its good, its because I likely got lucky.

Sector times will be made available beginning with practice at Suzuka

As for speed trap readings, I only know how to bring those up automatically in a race. I can try to manually find them in practice though. We'll see about it. There has been huge differences, I believe the fastest car at Spa was clocked at 351kph and the slowest around 300

Since Monaco I have really sorted the setup. A couple of backwards steps followed by a huge leap forward :) And I only entered initially because I wanted to see the McLaren livery on grid!
 
I am useless, but I will field a car until you have a full grid. After that, I'll withdraw if someone else wants in. I will try, but I make no claims that I won't make something horrible.

Don't give up, I just posted above how I joined for numbers... A decent setup is probably just a few figure changes away! Try changing something, judge difference then stick with it or go in the opposite direction. Don't change too many parameters at once either or you lose touch with what made car better or worse.
