Hyperlinking question

I have a question about how to hyperlink in a thread. I know how to make a hyperlink so when you click on a word it takes you to a thread. But I've seen other versions of hyperlinking where you click on a word and it takes you to a certain post within the thread. This could be handy for my league thread but after searching I can't find any instructions.

So how do I create a hyperlink that takes you to a certain post within a thread?

In the top right corner of every post is a number. Yours says #1, mine will say #2 unless someone beats me to it. That number is hyperlinked. Right click and copy link location to retrieve that link, paste it as a normal URL.
 
Highlight the word "here" click the link icon and insert the URL you just posted.

Many thanks to you. Not a major computer/IT/electric freak but I know the basics. This was just something I was wondering and never played with those buttons..
 
Of you can type it out, I find it easier than faffing.

nah, there's a button already made for it. Not a big coding guy either.
