IRC Chat...

Ok, alot of other sites that I've been to and am a part of have an I.R.C. server. I.R.C. is a program that creates its own chat-room. it's a really good idea, and I think Jordan should look into it...

IRC is "Internet Relay Chat". A server is required. It's designed for a multi-server network. The chat solution he provided briefly was much more suited for GTPlanet, though it need some polishing for our heterogenious community.

IRC is too labor intensive to maintain.

We've already talked about chat rooms quite a bit. Running an IRC server isn't something I want to get into.
