Official online races in form of seasonal event's?

If I have to chase rabbits, hell no.
If I get to choose who I play with, such as my friends, yes, I would. Although, I can see it being abused very easily:
A group of friends get together to compete in the event for the trophy. They decide who gets to win first, and take turns letting each person win until they've all won.
If we couldn't choose, then we would potentially get stuck with a bunch of noobs that "ain't got time fo' brakes" and proclaim "rubbing is racing" when they are practically forcing you off the track/into the wall.
