This month's PSM has an article about the best Playstation games ever made. For the most part, I think PSM is correct in their order of the games. I would have thrown out SSX and replaced it with Ace Combat or Need for Speed. Here's the run down:

10. Ridge Racer
9. Tekken
8. Tony Hawk Pro Skater
7. SSX
6. Resident Evil
5. Metal Gear Solid
4. Madden Football
3. Grand Theft Auto
2. Gran Turismo
1. Final Fantasy

Hmmm....That makes me wanna check it out. I haven't seen a Article about the Gran Turismo Series for a couple years.
 
gt3 was going to have 500+ cars but ran out of time? im sure it was gt2000 that ran out of time and gt3 was the "replacement". Still at least GT4 has 500+ promised.
 
Final Fantasy sucks exhaust fumes. Worst video games ever.

What?! Still no Ace Combat or Need for Speed? What were they smoking? :irked:
 
I was really surprised to see that Tomb Raider was left out of the top ten. They made a movie on the series so you think it would make the list.

I notice that Gran Turismo is the only series with all perfect scores. Yet they put FF first? Stupid.

Oh, did you find the April Fools joke they play every year? I haven't yet, and I'm beginning to think they stopped doing it.

Yes, how could they not include:
  • Castlevania Symphony of the Night - best PS1 game ever
  • Crash Bandicoot - all first 4 games (Naughty Dog's) were superb to play for any age
  • Wipeout - the game that made PlayStation "cool"
  • Ace Combat - how can one forget that "Bullseye!" from AC2?
  • Need for Speed - not remembering playing cops'n'robbers?
Well, i'm really glad at least Ridge Racer was in

I have yet to find it. First I thought it was Mortal Kombat: Deception but, I found out it really is a real game.
