Unable to paste links on mobile

I’ve been having an issue lately with pasting links into the message box. I can still attach files using the button and via pasting, but never URLs.

Phone model: iPhone 6S
OS version: iOS 13.0

And yes, I know my phone is an outdated piece of trash. I don’t expect any accommodations for a phone THIS far behind. But I imagine there’s a few users with versions nearly this old.
 
I don't have any iOS 13 devices available to test this on, but I do recall a copy/paste bug in 13.0 which was fixed by Apple in 13.1.

Your phone supports up to iOS 15.7.2 and I would strongly suggest that you always run the latest version of iOS that you can.

Otherwise, you could try using the basic editor instead of the rich-text editor. You can switch between the modes using the [] button in the editor. This replaces the rich-text editor with a basic form.
