Verdana font - Changing before our eyes?

Um, dumb question for those of us who stayed awake long enough in typography class...

When did the standard font of GTP change to from Verdana to Unicode Verdana? Did this have something to do with the server crash.

Secondly, some of the characters look fuzzy now, not crisp like they did yesterday in my test posts.

Yeah, yeah...I know, who cares? It is trivial, but odd.

That's strange...nothing about any fonts have been changed, and everything is looking normal for me. Could you have changed settings (like ClearType in Windows XP) on your computer recently?

No, I think I've found the problem. Mozilla and IE display them differently. (But I'm not using WinXP, just ME with smoothing of screen fonts, which is enough).
