What did you do in GT7 today?

I did the weekly challenge. I bought 3 Chevelles and a the black Trans Am Firebird from UCD. Got a 4⭐ daily ticket, got the ticket for the Ferrari extra menu. From the tickets I got turbo charger for a 2017 GTR, Lexus VGT, a C8 and a Veyron which I sold

I did the Gr.1 WC race at Grand Valley and was struggling with it on Hard difficulty... normally I use the Veyron Gr.1 for these, but I could only manage 6th place. I then (stupidly) bought the McLaren VGT which the AI won the race with, but it was hopeless compared to the Bugatti, so I ended up shifting the difficulty down to Normal and won the race, albeit after a pretty tight race.

I almost was physically ill when I added a wing to the Chevelle, had to take it back off immediately, wow that is an ugly wing
It doesn't look great, but you can also use it as a park bench or a cocktail bar.

The 919 served me pretty well yesterday, at least once I figured out how to get through traffic fast enough to put pressure on the Peugeot to force it to pit on lap 9. That Porsche won't have top-end speed, but through the corners, and especially out of the corners, it will fly. The bonus is there is no fuel saving required.

Yesterday grand valley in the GR1 weekly did ten laps none stop in the F1500 only really messed up one lap where I span out and lost about 10 seconds on FM6 the 1500 only really hauls the top cars in on entry and exit of corners top speed wise it's equivalent to others. End result first by 44 seconds. Did not open the tickets weekly challenge seems poor on cash this week.

Been doing this today and I think this thread might be able to give me some advice. Been wanting to do a one shot qualifying gig using the Nurburgring where I'd take a random car, fit it with racing mediums, and stuff it through a lap with no retakes, so if I make a mistake or the car, it stays. Here's my question with the replays, what would you prefer to see? :

A race with only that interior view.

A race with only the replay angles.

A race with a mixture of both?

Jiminy race at horse thief mile in a pimped Jiminy. Win.
Euro front rear in a TVR Tuscan.
Civic challenge in a ek97 engine swapped and tricked out to 690pp.
Japanese challenge at Alsace in the same Civic.
Took an Aston Martin DB3 to LeMans 700pp race, car is tuned using Docs base tune, terrifically quick if not dangerously twitchy, I burned a rear wet tyre out about half way round lap6 and limped back to the pits, trying to catch the lead Hurican I put a slick on some damp track and went spinning into the gravel and was consumed by the chasing pack, only enough time to catch up to 5th, my worst race at LeMans in a long while.

As I was still under the weather, it was a GTP-only day. I did some practice for the GTWS, disappointed that I can't use my liveried car, eventually getting down to 1:54 on the soft tires. Once again, the workout Wheel of Despair was of the 3-star variety, puking out the 2nd-low-showing/lowest-possible 5,000 Cr. on an all-cash Wheel.

Did I mention lately how much I hate Lake Maggiore? No? I HATE it with a capital-E. At least it gave me an opportunity to get rid of the last of my D DR bar to match my Plus account no-bar. It didn't go quite that badly, with an 8th on-track and 6th after penalties.

Painted my Chevelle matte white, GTO Ember Mist, Z28 Camaro LeMans Blue, and Boss Mustang in Baby Blue.

Still debating whether I should add go-faster stripes to them.

Yesterday was an OK session in the manic GTWS Nation Races!

I started off in the 11am slot and did qualifying, did ok timing as I had to re-learn this reverse course, Lake maggior is not one of my faves. Qualiy time was ok. OK on to the race and it was a massive clusterfudge, ramming, bumping, it was not good, even the conduct in chat after the race was unacceptable. Some of those guys will get PSN Conduct alerts for sure. I also got the tyre change wrong as I didn't check race info before setting off in this one.

Second time I tried again at 3pm, This was a much better race, focus was there and I got good times in qualifying. I started 11th and managed to finish a strong 6th after some crazy manic driving. Was chasing best I could to get at least 4th or 5th. Was my best positon for the day.

I did one last session at 7pm, last slot, push for Gold lol. This also ended up in a over zealous but crazy race, as alot of the french and danish guys just do ram passes or bum passes as I have mentioned here before in the rank class I was in.

Also just before I finished playing, tried to bash out the Mercedes CLK LM at Spa Master S License Test, almost just 300th off the Gold time. I am edging so close to getting it!

Overall not bad, I am more lookin forward to the last two races at Daytona and Spa/Nurburg. They will be more up my street!
