Zonda LM based off Zonda GR?

The Pagani Zonda LM in GT5 is apparently a fictional car PD created, but is it possible they drew some sort of inspiration from the Zonda GR that Car Sport America ran at Le Mans back in 2003? The GR has been the only Zonda to date to be raced professionally. It's an interesting theory I think... Thoughts?

I know it looks more like a road gong Zonda F, but seeing as it was the only racing Zonda around at the time PD modelled the Zonda LM, it seems like they did base it off the GR, even if it was only slightly.

I remember that Zonda! It appears on the 1st Forza Motorsport... great car! and even better memories

As for your question... I do think the Zonda Race Car is inspired by this one... Looks even better than the real one

Zonda LM Race car is from GT3, released 2 years before this car raced.

It also doesn't really look that much like it, outside of being the same base car. Different mirrors, different spoiler, different body kit, etc.


It's not like the XJ220 LM, which is blatantly based on the XJ220-C.
