What is the Grand Prix?
When Reims is added to Gran Turismo the Gold Prize should be one hundred bottles of the local bubbly wine: Champagne. When the circuit hosted the French GP the grand prize (Grand Prix) for pole position, fastest lap and winning the race was one hundred bottles of Champagne. Each. That's 300 bottles of Champagne total.
All that Champagne led to some legendary high jinx...especially among the British teams and drivers...like Mini Coopers being carried up to second floor hotel rooms and late night swims in the Reims central fountain...
The scene of classic slip streaming battles and regrettably too much tragedy. For GT6: Veyrons at 275mph would honor Bugatti's dominance here in the 1920's.
Tech details: the landscape is mostly flat, so Eifel Flat was used. The original track ran slightly longer than 10km, so this version is as long as possible.
