Data replacement for PedroBLR's pb_mazda_62_rx7.
Not necessarily historically accurate, but more so than the original mod, and very much more fun to drive. Not bop-ed to match anything. Should work for both the original mod, the Easy/ACTK version and other versions found floating around. For reference, I have used the Easy/ACTK version while testing.
- New 600 hp engine
- New gearbox
- New tyres
- New suspension
- New skins (#62 IMSA remade in 4K, and the #74 Le Mans 1994.)
- New sounds (Kunos Mazda 787B)
- New UI
Engine specs are reasonably accurate, gearbox is pure guesswork. The car has double wishbone suspension front and rear, which is correct, but suspension and tyre data is nicked from here and there, from other similar cars from same era and class. Not from modern GT3 cars. So it should be kind of representative at least.
The 787B sounds are not perfect, but at least it's from a rotary engine. There are a couple of sound mods available for the 787B, which can also be used, if you want to try them. They're downloadable from Overtake.gg, and to use them for the RX-7, either rename the soundbank file and edit the GUIDs.txt accordingly, or just install it for the 787B first, and then use "replace sound" in content manager to use it in the RX-7.
