If you're like me... for some reason you want to do an Electric GT grid in Assetto Corsa because that failed FIA series fascinates you. I had collected the Xiaomi SU7 Prototype, the Porsche Mission R Concept and did a bit of work on a Tesla Model 3 Cup Car that I found... But the grids still felt a little sparse, so I decided to do an edit on Guerilla Mods' Cayman RSR. I never really found a place for this fictional race car mod in my grids, but it was heavily based visually on the all-electric Cayman e-Performance from 2022, and that car was never made for AC, so I thought it would be fun to try turning it into a closer replica of that car.
I used the Ceky Performance Mission R Concept motor since both cars supposedly share a drivetrain, and I edited the skins to be a bit more realistic and did some config work to hide things like the exhaust pipes, flames, lumirank, and changed the LED timing to match the actual RPMs of the electric motor. Hopefully this car is a close representation of the actual Cayman e-Performance and I found it decently fun to drive, and a good challenge as it's much heavier now and with AWD.
As a disclaimer. I don't claim ownership of any of the materials I used for this project, I just include in the DL a few new folders, this is similiar in concept to an S1 "Tuned" version of Kunos cars and other mods. So, you'll need to have bought the 0.50 version of the Cayman RSR from Guerilla Mods to start. Delete the folders and data.acd in the Cayman RSR and extract the new folders into the Cayman RSR's folder.
