The German Grand Prix was dominated by Red Bull, with Mark Webber taking his first pole and race win. Despite being given a drive through penalty for a wheel-banging incident with Rubens Barrichello at the race start, Webber finally did his breakthrough, after 130 Grand Prix starts.
