Welcome to the GTP San Andreas Community. This will not be similar to the GTP Vice City Community, as this will not be all about giving out missions.

Thread Information
The purpose of the GTP San Andreas Community is to provide each other with your own personal character in San Andreas. But, there is more to it. You post your own GTA Character's details (see my details in the next post) and edit them as you make progress through San Andreas. But this has nothing (essentially) to do with CJ or the Storyline of San Andreas. No. It is a way to personalise yourself even more, and get your GTA Character known.

Now, you don't essentially have to be a criminal. You could be a Cop. Or even further, you could be a Law-Abiding Citizen with a legitimate job. Or, you could just be a City-nuisance that just creates havoc all the time.

You also don't have to do too much, just edit your details. You don't really have to participate in discussion, GTP Jobs or what-not, but it would be nice if you did.

Rules
  • You may not name your character after a more known San Andreas character, such as CJ, Sweet, Ryder, Big Smoke, etc. Remember, this is your character, and does not necessarily have anything to do with the San Andreas Storyline.
  • You are not allowed to live in the same house as anyone else, unless you have their permission. For example, if I live in CJ's starting house, you may not live there unless I say you can.
  • Set out your Details as I will. I will link to the post in which you have your Details, on this first page. So to change your details, EDIT them. DO NOT post them all over again.
  • For "Balance", you must post how much Money you actually have in the game as you edit. For example, if in the actual game, I have $217. I must post that I have $217. Please don't make up how much money you have.
  • You may not OWN any of the existing gangs in the game, such as The Ballas, Orange Grove Families, Los Santos Vagos, and any other gangs present in the game. However, you may have your own gang, or even extensions of this (as in, you are in OGF, but you have a group of 5 people that you constantly "recruit" to drive around with, do jobs, create havoc, etc, or you may run an area for the OGF, just as an example).
  • You may hand out jobs for other people, but to keep in with the "Balance" rule, you may only receive money that is actually received in-game, rather than fake money being rewarded.
  • You can post anything that happened in your own "storyline" or "community", and provide some entertainment.
  • You may provide a gallery on the bottom of your post, but please Attach them, rather than HotLinking them. Do so by going into "Go Advanced" under the post box on the bottom, and going to "Manage Attachments". Attach your Images there. Three at a time. Please don't use any other way, as it will look neater this way.
  • Wait for my details to be posted before posting yours.
  • Things are only as first happened in the Storyline. For example, CJ still lives in Grove Street and is only a small-time OG. People who died later in the game are alive, and are in the same position as first met. There may be some exceptions.

Born and raised in San Fierro, Jack was fascinated by cars since an early age. After barely graduating high school, Jack became a mechanic and started to modify his car. He soon took it racing, becoming a major force in San Fierro's street racing community.

His skills in the street races caught the eye of the Triads, who were looking for a good driver. Needing more money, Jack quit his low paying job as a mechanic and became a full time driver for the gang. Despite not being of Chinese ancestory, he quickly gained their respect, as he displayed great skill doing missions for the Triads, becoming one of their most valued members.

Jack was feeling unfulfilled, and wanted more out of his life than just being a gangster. So, he took his earnings, and founded the Turning Tricks Driving School. The school grew quickly, and became a succesful business, although he has had to invest much of his money into his business to accomodate the growth.

Currently, Jack is very busy. He has to juggle his business, and his responsibilities to the Triads. Now, most of his time spent with the Triads involves teaching the gang's other drivers, who are benefitting greatly from his teachings. Jack still drives missions for the Triads on occasion.

Jack recently bought his first motorcycle, a PCJ-600. He loves the vehicle's small size and it's neck snapping acceleration. He loves to weave through traffic in it, something which is much more difficult in a car. Jack trains daily, working with weights and a treadmill, since physical fitness is very important to him. Jack would like to leave the Triads for good to concentrate on his business, but the gang will not allow him to leave since he is a very valued member.
 
Yeah, same with the Record Book, although I only just got up all of the Statistics, etc, seeing as how I just got the game. Feel free to jump in early, too, and maybe reserve a house.

History:
Grew up in Las Venturas in quite a poor family. The only thing that Bobby and his dad , Luke, had in common was their love of cars. His father used to race in local events and that is when they could scratch up the money for the short trips and any repairs. Eventually his dad became a successful racer and money started rolling in. Bobby’s mum, Jenny, went through a lot with his birth and only had one son so Bobby was her main priority and really the only thing holding the family together.

Luke entered in a very important race in the centre of Las Venturas and this was his chance to make it big. He was running in 1st but being hunted down by 2nd place. On the 3rd turn of the 48th lap, 2nd place (John Santorino) tapped the rear of Lukes car under breaks, sending him into the wall. The car burst into flames and Bobby watched his father die. This mad Bobby a very depressed child and by 16, was into drugs and was becoming involved with a little street gang of thugs. When he was 18, his mother died of a heart attack and Bobby was left all on his own.

This tragedy sent Bobby searching for a new beginning in Los Santos. He found a quite place in Grove Street at a cheap price. After the funds from his parents savings ran out, he had to find a job. A mechanic was the only thing he could be because that is the only thing he knew enough about. He found a low paying job and stuck it out at the mechanics for 1 year. After getting together a bit of money, he opened his own business and called ‘Stroked and Slammed’, which grew in success and now he has a bit of money to live.

The OGF, saw his car skills and then saw his natural driving skills and took him in. Since that day, Bobby has never looked back and is moving up the ranks to become a well respected member of the OGF.

I suggest, after your Current Address, you put in brackets (Sweet's House), as I am putting "CJ's House". I wouldn't mind counting all of the houses in Grove Street to see what numbers they are. But I can't be bothered right now.

That's what I'm saying, I have no idea at the moment, but if I find one I like and it's taken I'll probably stay out of this one.

History

The Yeti is a roamer... born in the depths of the Himalayan mountains this huge monster of a man has no fear and has no physical equal.
His days in the mountains have taught him extreme survival skills and has instilled in him a strong will to only eat when absolutely necessary.
He tends to lope around on foot avoiding the complicated and small controls of motorised vehicles and has an uncanny ability to smell trouble and is always there when a gang territory comes under attack.
His sole mission is to destroy the other gang presence in the Los Santos Area and has great skill with the spray can means that his second past time is to roam the streets obliterating any rival gang tags with the OG tag.
Since his move to San Fierro (turning his back on his sulubrious abode in Mulholland for a back to grass roots outdoor style living.) he has gained an obsession in amateur photography & stealing cars to order.
Recently Returned to Los Santos to discover his efforts of territory expansion were in vain. Now restarting his campaign to conquer Los Santos.

Yeti, I wouldn't put "Chief Gang Banger". Maybe "Turf Defense" or similar. "Chief Gang Banger" sounded to me at first like maybe a leader of OGF, and I know it's not. Just a suggestion though, but it would be a tad better.

Also, Blake got the game and he's going to move in with me until he finds a nice house for himself. :lol:

Ah I see... that works quite nicely... Oh and BTW I updated mine this morning...

I did have a fair bit more wonga... but burnt half of it buying the Santa Monica apartment (I already had the Verona Beach one too) and the Mulholland house (Which isn't as nice as I expected for 120k!!! Where's my gym and swimming pool!!)

DrogoGTO -- Yeah it is a cool Thread. I had one about Vice City, but it was too concentrated on jobs, less about kicking back. Also, you should be independant, rather than with a Gang, but work for whoever pays.

I'm not going to buy any houses. I like mine, and having Save Points everywhere is messy. I don't need to, I like my lovely house in Grove Street. It doesn't fit my description to have places everywhere however if I like that garage in San Fierro and Wang Cars, I might use that as my business/job. I'll have a think about what I can do with that. Possibly co-own it with Cesar.

On that note, I forgot to mention something. In the San Andreas Community, people you meet in-game, such as Cesar, "Woozie", etc, are in the game, but they are exactly how they were when the game is completed. So people that have died aren't in it.

I am very good friends with Cesar and the Johnson Family. The only person from the game that I don't include is CJ. I'm just going to say he disappeared.

I was planning on not doing it... but then I felt like I wanted to blow some cash and quickly...

I might have to go back to the bookies to ressurrect my fledgling bank balance... that was as high as 210k at one point... now it's 20!! Boo!!

That means since I started buying houses I've earned 10k!! Actually I've probs got 25.... I just finished one of Catalina/Helena's missions and she gave me 5K...
