Video Update: Post 35 (31st July)



Today has been a great day for me. After learning that I can actually get GT4 photos onto my computer, I then search around the web and find thousands of photos here at gtplanet.net

So, first post on a new forum, yay, bet I'll do something slightly wrong...

Right, down to business:




I never really liked static family portrait like images, so I'm always trying something different. I cant seem to settle on a style that I call my own from these images though, so I guess I'll be doing more of the same :D

Any and all comments welcomed, I'm off to learn some more about framing and focus and whathaveyou, while looking at as many other threads for inspiration as possible.
 
If I had to choose a favourite, it'd be either #6 - like you say, it has more mountain than car - #3, a nice close up of an angry Viper or the last one - it seems like the car is driving out of the blur...

That Viper shot looks awesome, real mean lookin. The Impreza shot at the rocks with the mountain is pretty cool too. I love the tire hangin off the boat in the Zonda shot though, just reminds me of what cars are actually doin to our environment, and reminds me of the time I met David Suzuki at the zoo, lol. 👍
 
I really like that Zonda picture. I guess the front end kinda blends in with the dock a little, and there is a nice sun reflection on the front headlight area. Very nice pictures all in all!
 
Wow, very awesome photos! It'd be great to have your talent in the Photomode Competitions. 👍
 
Thanks, I've just been biding my time with the competitions, seeing whats what, checking out previous winners' work and whatnot.

I'm sure I'll start soon :)

great pics moonkea. alot of your pics have a sort of abstract style not really focusing on anything in the picture.
 
And I really can't tell anyone why. It's just something that I find myself doing to pictures.

I've got some more of the Speed 6 but Imageshack isn't going very well tonight, so they'll have to wait for the next update in a few days probably. I'm on a roll :D
 
I like the 9th one best - from the thumbnail I couldn't tell it was from the Karusell, so good job :)

I never noticed that writing in the 3rd one :)
 
I never noticed the writing either until I was going to get a shot of the car and zoomed in a bit further.

Wouldn't want to try and get to that hotel in the middle of a race though...
