Gran Turismo 4 steering wheel setups

Hey guys, me and my friend have been trying to find the best way to setup the GT steering wheel, but we just can't do it. We tried putting it on a TV dinner tray, but it's too shakey. What would you guys recommend for a good, and cheap setup?
 
Right above your post is this little thing called a search bar (on the right). It comes in handy when wanting to know information such as this. I think there's a really long thread about this in Page 2 of general GT4 threads. ^_^

The Xlerator Wheel Stand is the best value on the market. Coolest wheel stand! Very stable, fuctional and practical. You can get them on ebay or web site.

well our setup at home works very well, all you need to but is some wood and a real car seat. and hey presto you have a setup.

i love how there's an arrow labelled "floor".. and for some crazy reason I thought it was all on top of a see-saw .. lol! :dopey:
 
give us a break im using my dads PC and it sucks when loading Photoshop. and i could not be bothered going upstairs to my PC to do a drawing. This setup works very good, the TV is at the correct height so its in line with the steering wheel on the TV. it looks a bit shabby and can take alot of space to store (we keep it in the shed) and you have to be prepared to play a solid amount of GT before my mum tells my dad to pack it away again. :( as soon as i move out im going to get a permanent setup.
 
I was having the same issue you are. I love the dfp but had no good place to mount it. I was in target yesterday shopping and came accross a great find. It is called the sofa server. It is made of wood and is 30 dollars and works great with the DFP. If anyone would like I can try to post a pick of it.

If you lookup sofa server on target . com you can see a pic of it.
