Here is one of my earlier shots redone. I did this because I felt a lot of people may not have seen it when it was originally posted.

One Shot Special: BMW Power

Feedback welcome,

Thanks, Nic_Brix

👍 The first C9 is awesome! Great lighting, sense of speed and excellent finishing! Great stuff, keep 'em coming! :dopey:

Thanks Magburner and GT4_Rule

Another update...
Enjoy.

One Shot Special: Life is Too Short

All feedback and comments welcome,

Thanks, Nic_Brix

Thanks for the feedback. I accept that the shot probably would look better without the text, but I thought it would be something different, for a change...

Also, do you guys prefer these One Shot Specials to the normal, larger updates? It means I can spend more time on each shot, and I prefer making them to the larger updates, but I'd be interested in what you prefer.

The Dome Zero pictures are nice since not many galleries include the car 👍

Thanks George Morley.

Yet another update... I have way too much time on my hands.

Anyway, its yet ANOTHER One Shot Special. I think I'm going to stop calling them "Specials" and just call them One Shot Updates.

One Shot Special: Caterham 21

I'll let the picture do the speaking.

All comments/compliments/critisism welcome,

Thanks, Nic_Brix

Very nice pic of the Caterhams.... funny how the sequence of colours is almost 'in order', from dark red, to orange, to yellow.... I also really like the second of the two Sauber pics (although both are great), very realistic indeed... 👍

Thanks a lot TM and GT4_Rule.
In reference to your comment about the order of the Caterhams' colours, TM, it was no accident, and it was also influenced by the name "Fire Blade"; yellow, orange and red are the colours in fire (most commonly).

Wow, that's some good thoughts that went into a great picture!

Yes, I like my photos to be well thought out, and to have a proper meaning.

Then again, it's nice to just press select at a random time every now and then, and that sometimes ends up with the best pictures.

I'll take that as a no.

Anyway...

One Shot Special: American Beauty
blurrresized4is.jpg

I was pretty pleased with this my self, and it has been entered into this week's Head2Head comp.

All comments welcome,

Thanks, Brix

Nice...super nice photo!! American power:) Good shot!! Keep up!

Any more comments?

Also, what size screens do most of you people have? I personally have a 17inch and a 19inch, so 800 pixels wide is about right for the width of images for me, but I don't know how big to post them.

Thats an awesome shot. Almost looks like you did it in corel painter. It just has this painted look which is awesome. Ive been thinking about doing it for a long time. Im just glad somebody was going to enter the american competition.

Anyway, the shot is beautiful. 👍

Thanks for all the feedback.
And thanks GT4_Rule. From now on I will be posting all images 800 pixels wide(with the odd exception, possibly), unless anyone says they think that they should be posted in a smaller size.

Any comments on any photos still welcome.

Thanks, Brix

👍 Nice shot there nic, I like that one a lot! The elevated side on view look cool, and the dreamy softness is great as well. I particularly like the lighting in the pic, it gives it an 'easy-on-the-eye' feel. Great stuff, Keep 'em coming! :dopey:

Thanks Mag.

Here is my first "proper" update in a while:

Set of 3: Nissan Motul Pitwork Z

Hope you like them, I was pretty pleased with them myself.

Thanks, Brix

Note: There is actually an extra photo to complete this set, but I'm not going to post it yet... I may or may not depending on the feedback that these shots get.

I like the 1st and last shots!! The car is real nice on those, and the colors are great too. keep up mate:)
