ok nice and simple please tell me how to get information on translating mph to kph if you can get the hyperlnk that would be super, thx.

Multiply by 1.61 - eg. 60 mph = about 97 kmh.

OK, 1 mile per hour = 1.61 kilometers per hour.
1 kph = 0.62 mph.

Well, you could use the conversion factor where 1.0000 miles = 1.6093 km. So, you just multiply however many miles per hour by 1.61 to get that same speed in km/h. Don't know of any websites off-hand.

Ah I always wondered about that...... cause in :uk: we think in Mph and in other countries people think in kph.....

So mph x 1.61 = kph
and kph/1.61 = mph

Did I get that right

Almost exactly right! Cheers.

Though if you want the more exact, you'll use 1.6093 km per mile to get the tenth of mph for some cases.

AIM is the acronym for it.
Its like a chat room for your friends and provides instant messaging from AOL. MSN has something like it too.
