Welcome to Week 121 of the GT4 Photo Mode Competition

This competition will run for approximately one week. Please submit your entry by Sunday the 7th of October, 2007

Theme: "Legends of the Street"

Take a photo of a legendary street car on a track in its home country.
Examples: A muscle car on a US track, A German beast on the Nurburgring, a GT-R on the streets of Tokyo, etc.
For British cars you may use Original Tracks as there are no specified UK tracks in the game.


What: Any street car that you consider has 'Legendary' status - No race cars.

Where: Any Track that is in the home country of the car.

Photo Travel: Yes!

Entry requirements
  • You may submit one entry. It must be your own work not previously entered in a competition.
  • Please mark your Final Entry clearly.
  • You must post your entry either as a thumbnail, or as a preview linked to the full image.
  • Previews should be no larger than 400 pixels along the longest side, be it vertical or horizontal.
  • We recommend you use a free image hosting service such as or
  • Photos must be taken from a normal version of GT4, do not use any cheats or Game Shark codes to modify the game content.
  • Please do not ask other members to choose your entry. Have confidence in your own skills and go with your favourite shot(s).

Image enhancement rules
(what you can and can't do in Photoshop etc.)
  • You may adjust brightness, contrast and gamma values.
  • You may rotate, crop and resize the image.
  • You may add a border and signature to your entry.
  • You may NOT adjust levels, hue, saturation, curves or sharpen the image.
  • You may NOT use filters, blurs or layers on your entry.
  • You may NOT add any elements to the original photo.

belsa001 - Isn't that a race car? The theme does say 'street cars only - no race cars'...

And that's Hong Kong, hardly Tokyo.
 
only d1/forumla drift cars count as race cars.

Besides, HK is not Japan.
 
that would be my guess as well (taking tt pmc shots atm), but, yeah, hong kong is in china ... or is my geography that bad? :p

Yup, China.

You made the right choice with your shot, imo.

The TVR would be awesome if the brake lights were on (or at least visible), still the blur's great.

No the Tokyo thing was just an example you can use any track the corresponds with the cars home country.

for japanese cars, there's also tsukuba, suzuka, and motegi

wrong picture :D sorry guys. i was in a rush. i'll change it right now.though i have to say, that the entry i used the first time was only brightness and contrast, then color balance, which i think is not allowed in pmc. anyways the legitimate entry is here. well, i wasn't sure, but i changed it anyways :D my apologies again.
 
i think i threw in the wrong photo..shoot. i did too. i'll change it right now. sorry about that.
