  • You must start the race on the same tire compound/combination you qualified with.
  • You can set the AI up however you wish, as it doesn't matter in this series.
  • You are allowed to discuss your qualifying times ONLY!
  • You do not have to vary your qualifying/race start tire combo from race to race.
  • Most importantly, have fun! :)

Awesome, This track I'll definately shine on. I already have 2 wins from 2 series here so I chasing after #3

Edit: First splits for this event:

T1: 0'49.511

T2: 1'31.837

For the sake of asking, how are you fareing in this round on tires? For some weird reason, the track is pretty harsh on them and make the wear out much quicker than some people might imagine. In the race, I had to pit after Lap 5 because my front RM tires were starting to turn dark-orange. And the closer to red they get, the less grippy they tend to get when going through the turns. And Suzuka has them in spades!:ouch: To me, I'm thinking a harder compound on the rears may help me out here.

Your results for the final round of DTM season 2 are due in 11 and a half hours.

Aww, well to finish off the season with a win and second place finish is good enough for me. Love the new font as it looks like the real thing. I will compete next season so that's no surprise, but what car I want to race with is still under question. TS, will you compete next season or focus primarily on running the series?

Another question: Since there was a tie for 2nd in the team standings on points, which team gets the honor? Any idea as to a tie-breaker for it? As for the final round, I'd like to be happy with the podium finish, but the low turnout of drivers and my performance in comparasion to how the others ran has put yet another damper on things. :(

I put forth the following idea to TS in private, but I thought I would like to see your response as well. How about 2 classes for the next DTM season? The main class will have the post-2000 cars such as the ones used in GT4. But there also should be a 'Klassisch' class running the DTM race cars from the '90's.

OBTW, Klassisch is Classic in German. Thank Babelfish. :D

Ah, I didn't notice that. Looks like we have an interesting situation here.

I like the idea very much. If implemented, it would perhaps go like this:

M-Klasse
Audi A4 Touring car
Audi TT-R
Mercedes CLK Touring car
Opel Astra Touring Car

C-Klasse
Opel Calibra Touring Car
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI Race Car
Mercedes 190 E 2.5 16 Evolution II Touring car

We would have the M-Klasse or "Moderne" class and the K-Klasse or "Klassische" class. Was denken Sie, TS?

Thanks for the series TS 👍 .. and well done on the win RENTEC .. wherever you are .

Yes, I plan to run next season full time, I won't do what I did this season and run 1/4 of it.

Intresting, I'll have to look at race wins to decide that one.

Thanks for participating Del, hope to see you next season.

EDIT: Regarding the tie for 2nd place in team championship, AMG Teamracerworkz wins the spot, with 1 win for the team to Opel Team Phoenix's 0 wins.

:ouch::(Well, you are right on that one TS. They pretty much deserve it too.

Look for me next season:sly: I know what ill run next season for the M-Klasse but I dont know what car to pick for the C-Klasse. Looking at the Alfa Romeo or the Opel. The Merecedes is too slow.

Yeah, I'm changing the rules a bunch for next season, I'll include an official call for tie breakers.

If I do decide to put in the Klassic class next year, you don't have to run both, you choose if you want to run M class or K class.
