I was a little to busy with other things this week to put in at least 1 effort in both classes. Also, I had to rush the GT1 time in because it was about 3 minutes to the deadline!:eek: I hope it gets posted...:nervous:
 
Obviously I'm a bit late to take part in the first race, would I still able able to run in the series?

Question re setup: There wouldnt be a setup as such would there? Im assuming this as they are arcade races or are you just after the quick tune screen?

Should ICallshotgun be on, you should be accepted. Not sure if the penalty from Super GT applies here.
 
I think that we are going to have to assume that something has happened to effect Chris's (ICallShotgun's) life and cause this delay!!!!!

Bare with him, if he can come back, he will!!!!!!
I have never known a more dedicated host, even more than myself!

I trust him to carry on with this if he can!👍

After some deliberation, I will be taking over this series and have it resume. Should ICallshotgun return, I will unselfishly hand it back to him. I would like for you guys to resend your times to me so that I can put the results up monday.

Event Specific Information​

Qualifying Information
Qualifying will be simple Hot-Lap Qualifying. Send in your best lap.

Arcade Mode > Time Trial > World Circuits > Suzuka

  • [*]You must use RM tires for qualifying
    [*]Traction Control is OPTIONAL. ASM is PROHIBITED.
    [*]Gearing is up to the driver.

Prototype(PRO) - 30 laps - 174.30km
Grand Touring 1(GT1) - 28 laps - 162.68km
Grand Touring 2(GT2) - 27 laps - 156.87km



  • [*]Arcade Mode > Single Race > World Circuits > Suzuka
    [*]AI Difficulty set to +8 to +10 for all classes
    [*]AI Tires set to RS
    [*]Player Tires can be any combination of RS, RM, or RH. RSS and RSH tires are NOT allowed
    [*]Tire Wear set to Strong
    [*]Penalty will be Forced Pit Entry
    [*]Traction Control is optional. ASM is prohibited.
    [*]Gear setting is up to the driver.

This race falls under the GTMSA GCR for Online Racing. All standard online rules apply including

  • [*]No Cheating, Hybrids, Sharking, or running incorrect settings. Run the car I set up for you.
    [*]Try and keep two wheels on the road at all times. No shortcuts. This is endurance racing, mistakes will happen. But do not take advantage of it.
    [*]No wall-riding. It slows you down. It's also a good way to get a penalty.
    [*]Save some sort of proof of your race time and setup. I have had to ask for proof before, and it has cost podiums. Digital Pic, replay, video, anything that can show total time and settings used.
    [*]All entries must be received by the deadline, or will result in a DNS. Anyone wishing for a DNF and 1pt participation must notify the Race Steward before deadline
    [*]Entrants must fully complete the registration form (ie. time submission information) or risk penalties for insufficient information.

So what tires were you running with in that round? I started with a RH/RM setup then went the rest of way with stops for RH/RH tires.

I think I started with mediums to go for a fast lap, then when I first pitted, I switched to hards for the rest of the race to stay out of the pits. I'll experiment with using mediums longer this round, and see if it helps my overall time.
