All qualifying runs are required to submit their replay for verification.

To streamline the administration process, all replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any driver who has failed to provide a replay will have their Submission disqualified. All replays are to be posted in this thread.

Stage Two Delays and Changes:

Due to Spec III messing everything up, Stage Two is therefore delayed until after the Spec III results are published.

The initial draw for Stage Two has been cancelled. The new draw will now take place once the Spec III results are published and Spec II & III will then be drawn together.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Submitting A Replay For Verification​


1. Place USB drive into the USB slot on your PS3:

Congratulation to all the division winners and qualifiers. Seems I met my goal of NLP (sorry GTP_RUMBLERIDER). Looking forward to more info about stage 2 even though I didn't qualify. Maybe with spec III I will do better.

Aren't there supposed to be 16 qualifiers. I have noticed we are short from Div 5 and I am assuming that GTP_Wayne would be the fastest non qualifier?

You're correct. My fault for assuming The Grim Reaper was correct in saying that Wayne was the fastest qualifier.

Seeing that we were still one short due to the missing div5 bronze, I will now take the fastest two non qualifiers. 👍
 
OH MAN!!! I thought I had Div 3 Silver wrapped up for sure but GTP_Wanna_Be jumped in ahead of me (sly dog not putting anything up for the leaderboard but I doubt I could've found another 1.5 secs in my laps). Congrats to all - and GTP_Wanna_Be better be taking out PrudentBear in the Stage 2 - just let me know which online race it is and what time you're gonna race so I can be there to assist ... er, watch, yeah, that's the ticket! :)

I for one found this a very hard one, almost had me throwing the PS3 out the window, until I decided that I was going to do it relaxed, after which I almost immediately got a clean lap. Not a fast one, but at least it was nice and clean. :)

edit: And the reason for me not submitting was just a lack of time to put into the game. The brief moments I've had time to race, I've tried to race online and find those great battles. :) I did try the event and it was fun but little frustrating. And I do know that the times that the top guys put on the table were out of my reach this time. 👍

After 38 non-clean runs (yes I want ahead and finished the run even if it was not clean), I got one that was clean, I realized I was 2 full seconds behind uk and gave up, and decided to not even submit. I was frustrated to say the least.

Ditto. Having played for so many hours just to get a couple of clean runs I decided I had to submit no matter how bad the time was...and it was! (50th) I wouldn't say it was an enjoyable experience as I found that I was trying to avoid being punted by the AI rather than being able to concentrate on being fast. Not sure that there's any way around that with AI cars involved which only really leaves time trials at the moment.

I also think it was made more difficult by the fact that I use the chase camera view (since there's no seat-of-the-pants "feel", I find it makes it easier to see the attitude of the car) so I didn't have a full-time rear view mirror (making it slightly harder to avoid being punted from behind).

I hope the leaderboard has been supportive in keeping up with the achieved laps.
VERY anxious to see what Sphinx has up his sleeve for Event no. 2, and how stage II will end :)

i would have loved to have a serious go at this one,but only had 1 hour play time in the last 2/3 weeks or so...its just been bizzy as hell here and only did 4 laps of the specII one....so that whas it for me...:ouch:

think/hope i will have some time for the specIII part this week/weekend to join in with the fun..👍👍

did follow these threads late in the evening when i had a little time left,and have to (again...:))give a lot of 👍👍👍👍-up to SPHINX for all his hard work !!!
