The Evo X, S15 Silvia, and the another one I can't remember at the moment.

I'm also going to re-tune the CCX for the third time.

Unfortunately the rest of tunes must wait until tomorrow as this game keeps freezing every ten minutes.

Today will be Stingray day...mmm and some Evo to calm the nerves. Thank you for the tunes Terronium....Christmas has come early. Your help is much appreciated

Whats up everybody! Im new to this site,(came across it on google)first time post. I have been browsing and reading through this message board.(only need for speed shift, its the only race game i have) and notice this is the website i have longed for since i got nfs:s. All the cars listed at the beginning of this forum i have copied and made note of in a file.so to get on with my mutterings i have two cars to suggest although i would name them all but the two i like to use are the 67 shelby gt-500 and the porsche cayman s. Now im not to savy with the whole advanced tuning i swear i get blind luck in the quick tuning, but since i have discovered this beautiful website with contributors who actually post what is needed to get the most out of your car in this game.my understanding on all the tuning options is not to great so i quick tune all my cars not fully understanding what im doing.but those are my two car suggestion. The 67 shelby gt-500 and the porsche cayman s.thank you to the guy terronium for posting the previous 36 cars advanced tuning imma pick my pavorite 5 from the list and take em to the track!

OK Terronium. I just love that 67 Corvette and the tune you came up with for it.
I never drove a 67, but I did drive my sister's 1972 Vette with the LS5 454 and it feels so much like it, I'm sitting here with a big grin on my face. :D

running the PC version of Shift and sure wish I could get those new cars. Any idea when they are available for PC Game? Sure wish the patch was done for PC as well. I love the Corvette but the rear end hopping drives me nuts. Also playing with a keyboard is tough keeping the rear wheels hooked up. Done everything I know to make it work but 1:05xx is my best time at Road America. I love that track. I just which that damn hump was not there at the end of the straight before turn one. at 170mph the car takes to the air.

How have the tunes changed now that we have the patch that fixed the bouncing and other issues?

I haven't noticed an urgent need to adjust any of Terronium's tunes since the patch came out. I have an idea that some of the cars that reacted the worst to the bump-jumping problem like the Porsche GT2 and the McLaren F1 could stand to have their suspensions adjusted a bit, but I haven't felt the need to look into it. Both cars still handle well and the F1 has become a favorite of mine... that engine!:)

Can't wait to see what you do with the Toyota Supra and the Nissan Silvia. Both are favorites of mine, so, I'm really looking forward to 'em.

Thank you Terronium for the Vette Stingray tune it is fantastic. I ran 2 laps on Spa with my tune and did not a bad time. Then installed your tune and lowed my lap time by 4.5 seconds, but the Vette was red lining 3/4 of the way down the 2 main straights, so I changed the 4th gear and put it up a notch and lowed the lap time by another 1.2 seconds. My best lap time was 2.19.460. Love that car.

No need for thanks, just win some races and smoke everyone online. :D

Couple of tunes on the way.

I'm getting tired of this. :odd:

My gamesave has been corrupted about seven times because it freezes mid-autosave (luckily, I have several backups), or it loads redundantly never advancing beyond that screen (if it isn't black). I can only play in short bursts every ten or so minutes until the inevitable happens, which isn't enough time to get a good tune out before it happens.

I don't know. I'm going to clean the disc and leave the 360 off for the rest of the night (despite me knowing it isn't the problem). I'll just have to hope for better results sometime tomorrow.

Hi Terronium 12,

I have been using your car settings to play NFS Shift, they are just amazing, fantastic, brilliant...

Currrently i'm using Mazda RX-7 stage 3 work converted, but i noticed the car doesn't cornering as smooth as expected after applying your setting, as previously the car can slightly slide through corners smoothly...

hmmm, i will be glad if u can revise the setting of RX-7 stage 3 work converted. It is my dream car actually :)

Hope to hear from u soon.

Really? Hm. I'll look into.

If I can. :irked:

Im happy i found this thread, Terronium-12 you saved my shift from being uninstalled. Awesome car setups and the settings for the controller that you have is spot on for me :sly:👍

Finally i can have fun with this game.

A setup for the Toyota Supra would also be nice :)

Thx!

A popular request. You're not alone. :P

I'll get some tunes out today if, I don't know, Shift decides to actually play.

It'll play, that's not the problem. It's just a matter of how long it'll play.

It ain't the Ring of Death, is it? That sounds like the beginning stages of a dying XBOX, SEND IT BACK :) I'm on my third box. I'd get 10 mins into playing a game, and it would freeze, (and god forbid saving a game) couple days later the good old R.O.D!

Nah. It's the game. Every other game plays perfectly.

I reckon there's a scratch or something, perhaps a gash. How such would have gotten there is beyond me.

EDIT: Although Shift has caused a similar problem before that rendered an RROD, forcing me to fix it.

Driver's Note: These settings Make the car extremely stable at high speed Makes the car a GT car I would not recommen this car for small trucks But it Will do damn any track very fast. Throttle control is extremely important also not that if you are coming down from a jump do not apply throttle until car is settled. Engine braking and off throttle turns are recommend I.E. Go in hot No throttle until apex has been reached. You can drift around corners with this setup with very careful throttle modulation. For small tracks you might want to use less gearing.

Lap times

Nub Ring
7:47:220 (NO2 On back straight(just to top speed 180mph), 2 wall rubs and 1 Spin out And I could see this in 7:35-7:40 minutes with more practice)

London River time
1:25:470

Alright. The Supra is going to take me a while as it's one of "those" cars. Which is quite funny considering cars aren't supposed to bounce anymore.

Then again, a brand new car to the game has a speedometer glitch.

Ugh. I digress.
