It's a shame cars can't be cloned or bought more than once.

Have you compared your first version RS4 against the second one? I would test this directly but I'm too lazy to change all the settings... (If you haven't done this, you don't need to go around doing a comparison, I'm just wondering).

All of that could be negated if you could save tuning profiles.

Like, oh, I don't know...just about every other game that claims to be a simulator.

No, I haven't...but I really wouldn't mind doing so at some point.

2007 Gumpert Apollo Sport

NOTE: There's quite a few things wrong with this, but let's focus on the main one that I have something of a gripe against: the model designation. The Gumpert Apollo basic does not come with an adjustable rear spoiler, only the Sport model does. Aside from that be very mindful of the Apollo's orientation at all times. It is a very sharp-steering vehicle, if you do not enter a corner at a particular speed it will either oversteer from lack of proper downforce, or it will understeer for much of the same reason.

The Apollo is a vehicle that can outrun just about any other currently in the game, if you can get it to behave properly. This tune addresses transitional under/oversteer, turn-in response, and overall grip. Again, if you are not carrying enough speed/downforce into, or out of any particular corner you will either over or understeer.

Recent tunes have been added to the first page.

EDIT: With that said, I'm taking quite a long break. I'll see you all tomorrow. :P

No, I'm not actually going anywhere. I'll still be here...I just won't be posting any other tunes today.

Hi Terronium, i need your engineering skill !

I'm bored of the traditional best 10.00 rated car. I mean the Evo IX. So i decided to test a new one which is the Maserati Gran turismo S from the Exotic-Pack. Well, i'm only 3 seconds far of my record with the EVO on the ring. So i'm thinking that i can beat that time with a good setup cause the car is really hard to drive all assist off, especially without Abs, while using the stock setup.

Actually the car is perfectly 10.00 Rated. Below the list of the upgrades:

-Engine Stage 3
-Turbo Stage 3
-Suspension Stage 3
-Tires Stage 3
-Weight reduction Stage 3
-Race Exhaust

I had set a gear-ratio wich is allowing the gearbox to fit the Nordshleife in the good way for me. I know you are doing your time on the London track, but could you setup it with my gearbox? Maybe i did mistake on it, i didn't take so much time to adjust it, so just tell me if i did wrong :dopey:*

Terronium, I'd like to AGAIN agree with NITROVIOUS ( the second time in 24 hours! A record! ), and say Well Done on the McLaren MP4 tuning. The cars feels very well controlled without being so stiff that it overwhelms the tires. You are still the master of The Setup. 👍

@T-12

About the aerodynamics in the r35 works tuning...your post stated that the front and rear downforce should be set to 30 and 34 respectively..but my slider only goes up to 24...thanks :D

Will there be any improvements tune wise for this ride? I really like driving this one.. thanks again...

That's because of the patch that was released prior to the Team Racing Pack, it reset a lot of the values to lower ones.

I'll address it, don't worry. :D

T12, props to you on the apollo tune. But this happened at willow springs GP today.

The invisible jump, eh? LOL

I can't do anything about the infamous bump-jumping. That's a programming code fvsck up.

I would recommend taking foot from acceleration just before jump. More time you are in the air more time you are waisting.

Why is that on some other tracks my cars behave so differently?

On other tracks my car spins out at corners with just a slight touch of the d-pad while on some other tracks no matter how hard i steer it takes a lot before i spin out...

Has this something to do with tuning or is it just another bug?

I found the best thing to do is avoid the jump at Willow is to go a little inside of the racing line, that damn jump has put me into the wall more times than any online punter

Has this something to do with tuning or is it just another bug?

Well, to give the game the benefit of doubt, every track requires a particular setup because of varying conditions (i.e. Wind speed, track temperatures, humidity, precipitation, etc...) but seeing as I've come to the conclusion that this game doesn't differ in any form dynamically (and by that I mean exactly what you're complaining about) different setups for different tracks really don't matter in the slightest because the problems that are still on that track are going to be there no matter how hard you tune the vehicle to be stiff or rigid.

If it bounces, snap oversteers, or anything else...it's just going to do so no matter what I can do. It's the coding of the game, it's just the way it flows. Best I can tell you is spend the time there and familiarize yourself with where this ridiculousness occurs and try your best to either avoid it, or to generate enough speed and/or downforce to maneuver your way through that particular point in the track without winding up bumper-first into a barricade somewhere.

EDIT

I've never even seen that before, many apologies.

What upgrades are you using? I need more than just the rating, you bonehead. :P
