wow, the birth of GTP. how long did it take you to find it?
 
Ah, that's not the first thread, nor is it the birth of the community. It does have a threadid of 1 in the URL, but that's only because it was the first test post I made on our vBulletin software before I moved the 20,000 or so posts from our old Ikonboard into the new database (this is also the reason why userid numbers cannot always be trusted to give an accurate order of registration for older accounts). The actual first post and thread on the GTPlanet Forums can be found here. (I know I should have come up with something a little more dramatic to say, but I really was expecting all kinds of nasty server errors with the first post!)

For the die-hard GTP enthusiast, the original birth of this community occured on my old GT2 MSN site (where I was inspired to create GTPlanet after receiving the gtplanet.net domain name as a birthday gift). The very first message on MSN was posted on January 15th, 2000, and can be found here. :) Other than myself, Talentless and Misnblu are the oldest active members, both of whom originally joined the community when it was still on MSN.
 
..wierd.. I used to have an msn website way back when too.. I wonder if i can find it... :p

It was for a series me and a friend were running a while back.. Also has my legendary 4728hp Intrepid Dragster hybrid for GT2. It ran better than any of the REAL dragsters in game! :D

Yes, I've changed my avatar 4 times. First was a Lancer Evo VII, then a racing 911, and then the M3 GTR which appeared in the last avatar and still appears in my current one.

Why did you post about this 3 times in this thread? :lol: That poll was created on our old Ikonboard software, and was obviously corrupted when I converted the forum from Ikonboard to vBulletin.

I got a nice screenshot of me posting 600,000 times in one day on Tazz's forums. Somethin was messed up.
