Hey guys i have a great new idea.

OK,i was happily playing WRC3, competing in the Pro championship (with an AR Max static timer code, he he) and i was competing on one of the super specials. then all of a sudden it hit me. Wouldnt it be cool to have a super special stage in gt4, like the Cardiff docks or gran canaria? what do you think?
 
It would be nice to have one or two to add some variety to the rally races.
I'm a member of the secret society of GTP

It would be brilliant to have a British based track. Especially one so close to me :D
 
Didn't Kaz say there would be a london track? We have a paris track so why not a london one? That'd be good.
 
It would diversify the tracks.. Good idea.. Might be a little too late to call PD up though...

A super special stage, you mean the ones where two rally cars compete side by side on the same track, just split by half a lap and a barrier? Not really hugely different from the Rally mode we have now, but it'd be a nice trade off actually - all the competition of actually racing another driver and not a clock, but far more authentic to the world of Rally racing.
 
They should have that track from that annual competition competition where Pro drivers from different types of racing all race in teams bassed on what country they belong to. I forgot the name... They use rally cars and these 180hp buggy looking things.. jeez i cant remeber, lol :dunce:

First of all, nice of you to come up with a topic like this. You know, explaining situations in which you might WANT, rather than DEMANDING something gets in there. Your average GTP newbie (or more popular terminology: "n00b") post about wants than desires. Didn't sound right? I'll clarify. You're asking about something to help out rally racing. And if you ask me, it's something I wouldn't mind seeing. For example, let's say the Sahara Desert has a special rally race in GT4 (would require Dakar machinery to make it seriously effective), and there is a special rally stage to be held on the streets of Cairo (Egypt's captial). I mean, you can take your Impreza WRC and take the fight to the Mitsubishis on the city streets of Cairo (which is actually pretty nice to look at. Look up pictures online).

Special stages? I'd say yes. Maybe if Rally Mode implemented rally racing championships. Only then would such an idea be authentic and feasible. So let me ask you, Nitro. Would you want a rally CHAMPIONSHIP to make rally more interesting, granted special stages?

That would be the 'Michelin Race of Champions' held every year. Its very fun to watch. I love that kind of rally. I like the WRC just like everyone else. But seeing those guys work so hard like that head to head for like 2 minutes, its great. Really shows their talent behind the wheel. Proven in perfect example when Travis Pastrana, the MX rider, supremely rolled his Evo last year. Uh, yea, Trav, stick to doing tricks on 2 wheels, bud. A barrel roll in a car isn't a trick. :dopey: I think a little short track like that would be REAL fun in GT. It would be pretty fun racing the computer, but the best would be head to head battles with friends. Either live or online. That kind of track would make for some fun online races.

I want a really long track, with alot of tight turns and transitions. Lot's of variaty, and no letting up.
 
well nursnow and yosemite meet your specifications perfectly. take a look at their track maps.

Yes, it would be nice to have an actual rally CHAMPIONSHIP rather than just seperate rallies. But if there was a rally championship, i would like the stages set out with the special stage( if there is one in gt4) first, then 1-2 stages for day 1. then you go to servie to change tires and set up the car and change components. then day 2 with 2-3 stages, then service, then day 3, with 2-3-4 stages, then a podium ceremony. that's how i would imagine a gt4 rally.
 
Special Stages are a good laugh, me and my mates throw on WRC have a few beers and rally around the ss's. If this was included and was available online it would make GT4 that lil bit better (if that's possible!?).
 
I wonder if soon somebody is going to say they want some stages from
the Dakar in GT4.
How about some open-road courses?
 
Well, when KY manages to fullfil his final ambition for GT, it will feature all cars and every type of motorsport on four wheels and some on three, around.

...so was "THE COMPLEX STRING" a super-special-stage in GT3???...it was (very,very)long very complex with many variaties and u could drive again a friend (but unfortunately not against the 5 other virtual DREIVERS)!!!....hmmmm well i like LONG TRACKS like Le Mans or NN(Nürburgring-Nordschleife),but such a invented super-special-stage??...perhaps but it must be interesting and DEMANDING!!!....oahhhhhhhhhhh I WANT THIS GAMEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(

GT-One ignore him, he obviously has some issues to continuously insult you, if he's that pathetic he's not even worth replying to (nothing against you Darin but gd grow up). Anyway I see you are in Germany so english may not be your first language and even though GT has tracks called "Special Stage" it's not really like an actual WRC Special Stage, A WRC SS for those who don't know is basically a track within a track that crosses over into each other - "think a scalextric track with the lane swap section" and the race is done over both sections as when the car completes it's first section it will automatically swap over into the other "lane" so to speak. It's hard to explain so me thinks I'll just stop and let those who can do, and those who can't insult.

Does that make any sense? :banghead:

Look at GT-One Lovers posts. They are annoying and most of them don't make sense. If you are gonna be on a english speaking board. You better speak english or don't speak at all.

I guess i'm a neagtive person half of the time.
 
Well this is GTPlanet and GT isn't only for the english speaking, I find it amazing that many people learn english whereas those that speak english don't bother learning another language, I know a girl who can speak 8 languages!!
