STOCK car times on Nurb

I searched, and didn't see anything QUITE like this topic.

I've started compiling a list of all my times on the 'Ring. In stock cars (not stock cars, but, uh, you know.)

So far I have all the American 60's/70's Muscles, the Trucks, and what I've called the 'Pacific Muscle.'

I also have a few of what I call 'Sports Compacts' and a few 'GT/Luxury Sports Cars.'

All times are rounded to the nearest second.

Here's a breakdown of my classifications:

60's/70's American Muscle: Any big, large displacement car of Muscle fame (Chevelle, GTO) I've also included the Shelby Mustang and the Camaro, although they are technically Pony Cars.

Sports Compacts: Small Japanese sports cars. I use cars with under 220 HP, and over 80 HP. Two doors only (COMPACT!)

If you have any cars to add (using the guidlines above) or can give me a good reason to change the guidlines in some way, post them here.

Also, if you can do BETTER than me (STock with the exception of the oil change! S2 Tires!) then post your times. But if it's TOO much better, you'd BEST be prepared to front some proof! I don't care if you went off the road, as long as there's no cheating, and the car is STOCK! Oh, yeah, and all times were taken in Photomode Lap, with ASM and TCS turned OFF.

I think I am not that fast, but here is some my contribution - M3CSL (stock, driven in arcade) with SS 7:24.204 and with SM 7:31.405. I have uploaded a replay of 7:29.129 with SS tyres here: http://www.autoclips.net/detail.php?id_video=461 - for a bit of proof. Also Impreza WRX STI C-spec stock, SM tyres 7:41.222 (it has room for improvement ).

We're doing a similar sort of thing on my website. It's called it the Nurburgring Challenge but have had no submissions so far. :/

The reason why you couldn't find anything on a search, was because we keep the "fast lap" queries in the Spot race and Lap Time Comparison forum.

The post shows the conditions I ran the test under (I used photodrive too) - pretty much the same as you but I let B-Spec do all the work and they are not "hot laps". But until you get better times they should do.

hey, I've done a 8.53.810 in a completely stock '95 miata(sport medium tires). so, yea. that was fun. hope that helps.
