Quick Skyline question

I seem to remember in the older GT's there was always a Skyline GTR you could get over, or close to 1000 horsepower, but i can't find it in this one.

Can anyone help?

That'll probably be because there isn't one, none of them could get over 1000bhp in GT1 either. The effects of the parts is different slightly in each game.

I was sure you could get at least 900HP in one of the games.

Just need to put up with 800+HP i suppose then.

There is the GT-R V-SpecII Nür '02 that puts out a maximum of 911 bhp with a Stage 5 Turbo, and the Gran Turismo Skyline has even more grunt, something around 950 bhp. Also, if you count it as a Skyline, the GT-R Concept Race Car delivers just over 1000 bhp. 👍

Well, you can get 911 Bhp in a Skyline GT-R Pace Car that can be won by getting all Golds in IB License, remember, the Skyline won in Extreme Hall is diffrent, the one which can be tuned to 800+ Bhp has no flashing lights.

I think only the GT-R Concept LM race car can be tuned to over 1,000 hp, but there are several Skylines (if you include the tuner variety) that can be tuned to ~800 hp. I'll try and make a list for you in a few minutes.

and Gran Turismo GT-R makes 938bhp, but in change, it can't have wing.. good for power-over..

My Extreme Hall Pace Car has about 900bhp.

hard to notice the diff between a car tuned to 900 and a car tuned to 1000 isn't it I think it was just GT3 that had lots of cars breaking 1k when tuned up.

I have a amuse carbon R with 833 I think

I don't get the Skylines over 799. I'm pretty much that way with any "stock-bodied" or shillouette car.

and FYI, 6.2 mile R32 V-Spec II reaches 798bhp with stage 5 turbo. you obviously didn't have the low mile car when you did that, did you?

The stage 5 turbo gives slightly less power than the stage 4 turbo, it just has less lag.

never the less, that power is wrong. and in some cases, stage 5 gives more power.

A few months back I was in the progress of making a comprehensive guide to all the Skylines in GT4, but I kept having to put it on the back burners as more important things came up. If time permits, I'll try and work on it some more in the event that perhaps some of the data I have may be of some use.
