Hey Guys, i'm curious what kind of settings you guys are running on your fanatecs. I use the PWTS wheel, and i finally got a setup thats minimzing the wheel spin without going the full 900 Degrees. I don't like the car being so unsensitive, i try to keep as 1:1 with the screen as possible, but if i go any less than 350 degree sensitivity, i get wheel wobble, even with 10 Deadzone and Zero Drift.

Has anybody figured out any comfortable, proportional wheel settings?

Have you tried playing with linearity? I doubt it will do any good but worth a try. I run 900 degrees and never feel the steering is non responsive. Though it would be nice to be able to run 360 and get full steering lock anyway :)

you need to up the linerarity as said.
At least that what Fanatec says in his vid.

But i don't understand 1:1 is 900°, in the game mecanics. you know that the steering wheel on the screen is limited because of animations.
Try this:
Go on the outside view, look back so you see the front of the cars, WIth 900° on the wheel the mouvement on the wheel is the same than the tires. 1:1.

But if you like 350°, that's your choice.
Again Linerarity

The wheel, in my experience needs very little altered in the way of setttings.

Here's mine for what its worth.

In game

FFB - 5
STEERING - SIMULATION
POWER STEERING - OFF
ASSISTS OFF

On the wheel.

SENS - off
FFB - 100
DRI - 2
SHO - 30
The rest zero or off.

I personally love these settings. try them and see.

Ya, i currently got my linearity at 20 for that set up.. With 900 degrees i find myself more often then not having to turn my wheel almost 180 degrees for a 2nd gear turn, like the exit of turn 2 at Laguna, which personally i didn't think felt right.. I figured it wouldn't match the animations, but i thought real world drivers very seldomly turn the wheel that much.

Oh ya, what exactly does the new Spring and Dampen settings do anyways? I'm having a hard time recongizing a difference.

Ya, setting the wheel to 900 took a dash of getting used to, but i find myself loving it. Too bad the drift settings aggravate the wheel so much =\

Most cars turn more than 360 if fact pretty much all of them do. LMP and F1 cars maybe not but your typical car would be closer to 900. F1 may be closer to 180 or 240

but the driver on screen doesn't turn close too 900...why?, i want too drive it with same rotation as in a real race, why would the game animate it different?... but i think you learn to control the wobbling... i did

With the PW you have the option to set it as you wish. I personally perfer that the car feel as real as possible and could care less about the driver animation. My eyes on on the road not the wheel.
