EXP split between drivers?

I've just got to the extreme series in B-spec mode, and it seems to be time to start training a second driver.

If I send out my first driver for 90% of the race, then call him in and allow the new boy to finish is, will they both receive the full amount of EXP?

Or is it split between them? Is it split in half, or relative to the amount of time they spent on the track?

I think it's relative to the amount of time they spent on the track. At least that is what it looks like based on looking at the EXP gained after endurance races.

You can't do that once you hit the SUPERGT races. 30 laps and my level 20+ drivers only last 13-15 laps each. I just started the series and it seems I need to train my remaining 3 drivers just in case.

Right, that's my little masterplan buggered, then.

Edit - I just sent my speedy little fellow out on a Super GT race, and he managed it all alone?
Both strength bars were empty by lap 15, but he still managed to hold everyone off.

I think it is the same for all of the drivers entered into the race. I have ran several B-Spec endurance races at this point and have saw no reason to think otherwise as of yet. All of my drivers are leveling up about the same.

I did an endurance last night (Indy 500) and they are definitely earning different amounts of EXP.

1st Driver: 11.80 -> 19.55
2nd Driver: 11.80 -> 19.50
3rd Driver: 11.80 -> 18.85
4th Driver: 11.80 -> 17.25

1st, 2nd and 3rd drivers had blue arrows. 4th driver had a green arrow.
They were also driving in the order that I have listed them in.

I wasn't watching the entire race, but it looked like they had to pit every 30th lap.

0 - 30: 1st Driver
31 - 60: 2nd Driver
61 - 90: 3rd Driver
91 - 120: 4th Driver
121 - 150: 1st Driver
151 - 180: 2nd Driver
181 - 200: 3rd Driver
