How to download stealth cars

I received the account info of someone who had downloaded the stealth cars so that i could, i went on playstation store and downloaded them, when i went to play my game the cars weren't there so i did it again. It still didn't work so i thought i would have to play the game on the user i downloaded it on first but it still doesn't work. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know what to do about it, the account is from Sweden and i'm in the U.S. if that helps
 
I'm pretty sure that the all codes expired. Sorry, dude.
 
Yeah I think they expired Dec. 31st or something. I might be wrong though..

From what I can gather the OP only wants to access to the cars that have already been 'claimed' on a different account ... what if the original account holder had a YLOD or similar - they would never have access to their own content again?

I would imagine it's somehow related to the difference in regions!

I'm pretty sure that's not going to work. I hope you didn't pay for that.

Probably not. That's why you back-up your game data.
 
All the codes are not expired. Some of the preorder ones for the U.S. are, but lots of codes are still good for a while.

OP, you would need to have the proper disc region for the cars he used. There is a couple other things it could be but that would be my first guess, you have U.S. version disc and the other guy is using EU or Asia.
 
Yup, nothing to do with expired codes, simply a conflict between regions. You would need to get a PAL version of the game I believe.

That is a fact. Also, Some of the preorder retailers here in the US have stealth codes still available for the SLS AMG and Fantasy Nascar. If you live in the USA/Canada/Mexico you will never get the full collection of stealths that comes with signature series and the exclusive Japan DLC.
 
If you want the stealths bad enough keep an eye out on ebay. I've seen Signature editions with all codes unused go for as little as $100

you cant download a european dlc and play it on a american game it doesnt work.
 
In my honest opinion I don't think stealth codes expire despite what the voucher says.

Now heres a screen shot of my Download List:



I redeemed this code on 03/08/2011. And I'm not the only one on here who has redeemed expired codes.

The latest DLC code to expire was the Schick Racing Suit and Dynamic Theme (exp: 03/31/2011). If anybody still has one of these codes then we could test out my theory further.
