Right, here's the idea, you have a budget of exactly $15,000 Credits, nothing more.

Go and buy a used car from the Used Car Lots (no brand new premium cars), and whatever you have left, you can spend on tuning it, anything goes.
Just a hint, you don't have to buy a car that's as close to 15k as possible, you should factor in whatever you have left for tuning it.


There are a few restrictions and rules on what you can do to the car:

- Oil change won't be counted in the budget
- Comfort softs tires only, since some cars will probably come with it, tires will not be factored into the budget
- Feel free to paint the car to your liking, that's not counted to the budget​

**You must submit a report, the price paid for both the car and any parts you have installed in a post in this thread.**
You can leave the name of the car out and just mention what you've paid for it, this way we can have some sort of surprise element on race day and it'll be better than having a dozen of people go after the same car.

This is a hard copy of the race event for GTplanet chat members, since anything written on the chatbox get deleted after a while, we need a thread to write down the rules and regulations at least, and your link doesn't actually take me anywhere.

I'm up for it, seems like a good idea. I'll post the details of the car when I get home from work. Will probably be something Japanese/European depending on what I can find and whether it's under 15k.

Fiat Panda which was less than 10k i hthink.. what is the limit on tuning etc.. is it all within the 15k budget?

what about the purchase of an engine overhaul outwith the budget? this would help alot
 
The purchasing of the car and the mods (oil and paint are free) must total less or exactly 15,000 cr. Engine and Chassis Overhauls count towards the total of the car and mods. (i.e they aren't free)

What crash said, and honestly, in my opinion, the overhauls aren't worth the price you pay for them since we're racing on a budget, don't let that stop you from doing it though.

Will you guys be alright with racing on 2am GMT (which mean I'll be going against friday and end up racing on the early morning of saturday April 16th for those living in GMT zones)

Cheers, I'll keep a look out for the time. I might change my car, but I'll update my initial post if I do. Run a test lap with the one I have and it was useless.
