Passed

Decided at Francorchamps during the 24h:

3 September, Zolder 24h!

I propose to meet at 14h30 (anyone that knows a good meeting place there, I've been there before, but nothing sticks in my memory where to meet).

=========================

Passed:

I had planned it, since there were discussions on meeting up, lets make it official:

Meet up on the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, 31 July 2011, 24h race:

I suggest 11h in the morning at this plaque in the paddocks:

That is near the tunnel from Parking 14 to the paddocks, on the paddocks side:

Parking 14 is the big gray block on the left (generally reserved to teams and sponsors).

Hey Vince, I was thinking about going myself aswell (Spa + Zolder) but it's my first time going to Spa (shame on me :O).
Do you get tickets in advance or buy them when you get there?

I've decided I will be going, so I will probably see whoever is there on sunday :).

👍

I will try to be there quite early to smell the magic of burned rubber in the morning.

So we managed to get free printed tickets last year for the Renault days, that was easy.

For Sunday I also did foresee to buy at the track. It was no issue on Nuerburgring 24h and that seemed to have more public then here.

I'll send a PM on top of that.

Had tickets but couldn't make it, so had to sell them. :(

Have a great weekend and enjoy - Spa 24 is always legendary. :)

So I just did some rounds in Supercar Challenge with a Ferrari Enzo and this track is tricky.

Just expecting the people that confirmed in this thread tomorrow

Some pics from Sunday. The three of us: Kristof, Marco, and Vincent.

Great day, with great company!

Good shots Marco, nice detail on the Ferrari tail light.

Unfortunately I won't be going due to kidney stone problems. I wish I could go.

For those who go, have a blast.

With the cars there it will sure be fun. I love to see those Corvettes, Moslers, Viper GTS-R etc.. again which you do not see that often.

===========================

Poolhaas was there again and chose the fastest car around on the grid walk: Corvette C6-R

===========================

Dutch Supercar Challenge results, only 6h:

133 MAD & DARING TEAM Corvette C6.R -- 221 laps - theory on 24h 884 laps - Fastest lap: 1:32.523
163 RUDOLPH RACING Corvette C5.R -- 220 laps Fastest lap: 1:31.877
132 VEKA RACING Ferrari F430 W -- 216 laps Fastest lap: 1:33.484

In Belcar the result was:

1. W Racing Team - 818 laps - Audi R8 LMS - 215 laps after 6 hours Fastest lap: 1:35.022
2. ProSpeed Competition - 800 laps - Porsche 996 GT3 RSR - 194 laps after 6 hours Fastest lap: 1:35.157
3. KRK Racing - 790 laps - Mercedes SLS GT3 - 216 laps after 6 hours Fastest lap: 1:33.759
(It seems Koen Wauters, a Flemish singer and TV presenter, pushed a Porsche off the track with this car, causing 40 min repair and an end to the battle for the first place)
