I've got 70/80 odd, not sold any yet, but there is a couple of duplicates and looking at the prize car list there's a few more to come.

Trying to save money for later in the game though, i've got 1.3m and i'm level 19 A-spec but only 3 B-spec.

Ideally i'd like to own every car, but realistically that won't happen and i doubt i'd ever come close to getting the 1000 cars trophy.

924.. i have bought EVERY car under 15k i see in the used car lot.. im level 35 a spec and 35 b spec so ive had ALOT of cash.. i want this purely coz i get the feeling you ge something epically special for it

I have around 80 cars, level 19 Most cars are my favorites, and quite alot of the cars I buy only for the color, I love collecting different colors

I have more than 800 cars but i can only use them on arcade mode .

I'm really far from the 1000 on GT mode but i'll catch them all lol

I have about 200 cars and hopefully I will eventually reach the 1000 mark, but I am not going to glitch just to get there, for me, it just isn't worth it.

863 different models. Working towards #1000, but now comes the hard part of waiting for rare cars to pop up in the UCD.

EDIT: Now at 1023 different models. Around 1050 cars total.

Just got my collector trophy yesterday, no duplicates in my garage either (presume that an RM'd version counts as a different car.

Just those illusive few standards and a couple of Nascars left to get, haven't seen a 2J in the UCD since shortly after release.

Exactly. I started "collecting" cars only because I kept nearing the 20m credit limit --at which point I'd buy out the UCD. Imo, the only things that would limit the number of cars would be to increase the car prices and lower the payouts. Raising the credit limit wouldn't help.

Otoh, at some point, most players may have all or most of the cars in the game. There'll be nothing left to buy, except duplicates of the same cars. Though, I have wondered whether anyone has collected all the cars in all the colors. There should be a prize for that

I thought the Formula Gran Tourismo is permanently available in the OCD, I have 6 of the things. They are always 'available'.

1,384 and like you, still buying. I buy out the OCD due to the zero mileage on the cars. From the UCD I buy only cars with very low mileage. I have at least 2 of each LMP, class C, jgtc, fgt, x2010, f1s etc
