Main Rules:
League Rules.
All rules must be read and understood fully before any members enter any of the championships.
Any member found to be reminded of the league rules could be asked to leave the racing club.
You must give 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend a race day.
Drivers are only allowed to enter one GTP and one PSN name into the league.
Abusive language will not be tolerated and will result in a suspension or baning from the league.
Cheating in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to an automatic ban from the league.
Driving must be of a certain standard.
Regular bad driving can cause you to be ejected from the league until you are better.
Disconnection rules
It is advisable that you make sure that you have the best possible Internet connection strength as you can get. everyone have to use type1 or type2 connection.
Please where possible use a hardwired connection over a wireless connection as this will help minimise online connectivity problems.
Please be sure, you've opened the neccessary ports on your router for GT5:
TCP: 80, 443, 5223.
UDP: 3478, 3479, 3658, 3659
If someone looks to have huge connection problems may not be invited to the next race.
Qualifying rules
As the GT5's freerun/qualifying section work well after a few updates, everybody starts from the position where he is putten down to the grid.
Grid Formation Lap /at rolling start tracks/
Then at the start of the race there will be a single warm up lap into a rolling start to the race.
At the start of the race the pole position driver will be responsible for getting there car into position at the front of the pack as soon as possible, Once at the front of the pack the pole position driver will continue round the track for 1 lap at no more than 150/ KPH.
Now in that 1 lap each driver will be responsible for getting there car into the correct qualifying grid order and must do so by the end of the warm up lap.
The race will start when the pole position driver crosses the line.
Any driver found to be in the wrong grid position at the start of the race or accelerates before they cross the finish line in the warm up lap will lose there points for that race.
You are welcome to warm your tires up in the warm up lap once you are in your grid position.
Please note that if a driver spins his car while warming his tires during the warm up lap must rejoin the at the back of the pack.
Race Rules.
Head sets must be at least muted or preferably switched off.
Excluding league mods that will use it for info.
This is to stop distractions to other drivers during a race and to help keep online lag down.
If you are booted from an online league race you must not re enter the lobby to watch the race, This will help minimise online lag and connection issues.
If you make contact with another driver and cause them to lose there position you MUST pull over and let them regain a place in front of you, any driver found in breach of this rule will be penalised.
The Track must be re-entered safely so as not to ruin other peoples races.
Accidents caused by bad exiting/entering of the track can cause you to be penalised.
If you are about to be lapped you must move over and let the driver overtake.
Please do all your car track and tuning testing on-line as the tire heat and deformation is not present in off-line mode.
So a car that feels really good to drive in single player could drive like a pig on-line.
Basic rules:
- do not cut any corner, if you do it several times, or if you get a position because that, you may will be penalised
- do not cross the line if you come out of the pit, it is forbidden and may will be peanlised, but when you entering to the pit this rules does not live. And there is no speed limet neither entering, nor exiting.
- do not push or kick anybody from the track, or you may will be peanlised
- please pay attention if someone behind you is significant faster than you, do not try to figh for your position, let him go over you.
