Hey guys. Dont know if anyone will be inclined to help, but I'm not a great tuner and I could do with some advice.
I'm sure you've all experienced it, but at the night before lasts track in particular, my M3 was acting quite strangley. Normally in the high cambered corners my suspension behaved like it was bouncing off the bump stops or something. Is that whats happening?
Whatever it is, it causes loss of traction and I've tried, but cant rectify it. Any help would be greatly appreciated![]()
Not sure I want to share as I'm sure I had an advantage of sorts last night![]()
I was using the suspension tune from RKM's Me CSL and it seemed to suit the track very well. I was running high 35's in clean air by the end of the night with a best in light slipstream of 35.3xx which is fairly competitive given I am in no way the fastest driver out there. I'd reccomend giving it a go as a base to start from at least.
Interesting, as I'm useless at tuning, I'll give that tune a go too.
We'll be using a different track tonight, so your current tune my be alright.
I was using a virtually stock tune and managed low 35's in free air and mid 34s in slip, so I would recommend you start with it being stock until you learn the track, then experiment with a few tweaks.
