As we all know the new nsx has just been unveiled and as a huge fan i am thrilled so for you who have watched the video and posting your thoughts on the thread that brought us the video lets take our analytic data here
-all post must link to the time on the video such as 1:15
as what i have noticed is the Test track in the spec 2 intro * same lights etc..* and Tokyo docks which i firmly believe is a drag strip due to the single car tunnel :) proven to be same track!

Edit: this is not a duplicate thread!!! this thread is to post what we found in the video not to discus the video or the nsx * for example you may say the video shows the nsx will be a sports hybrid not * oh the new nsx is awesome or looks ugly : we are analyzing the video posted by motor trend!!!
Second Edit: Thanks to some eagle eyes we have realized this is indeed one track , Kaz confirmed via Twitter that he would release the test track as dlc -Link would be nice if any one has it - so i speculate this is the famed "test course"
EDIT : Test track X has been announced so yes guys we were right!!!

You can clearly see Spa, Cape Ring, the GT Helmet during the Old NSX part, even the GT5 glitchy reflections towards the end on the car.
99% bet we're getting it as DLC

The one with the ship yard, it looks like a different track then the other new one used in the video and the Spec 2.0 intro.

I agree that they are the same track. The banked corner that appears first can be seen on the image that GT Ace posted. In the back, it goes over the sea/lake... just like the part that appear on the video.

It's obviously a HUGE test course around a big harbour. The slight downhill should make real highspeed testing pretty easy.

EDIT: We saw a part of that harbour before in the first Toyota FT-86 video too.

It's clearly a test course-like oval with some elevation changes and a more interesting scenery than usual. Oh, and also with a full night-day cycle! (it gets pitch black, unlike that Toscana dirt track).
It's at least 8 Km long.
 
Very interesting, PD are showing it extensively in this trailer, so it might be a hint to what we may get next DLC.

I hope 400m and 1000m tests are included with it like previous GT's

Yea I commented in the other thread that I think it is just the Test Track revamped with new details like the shipyard and the satellite dish to make it look more "next gen" and less barren compared to the original. Doesn't really matter if it is only that track , I am still pretty stoked overall to see and hear this news.:)

Exciting talk in here. Hopefully the drag racers get something in respect of the test course and 100 meters with some start system.


This video def makes one think there is a good chance at new DLC tracks and cars soon.


Liking the NSX Concept too.
 
I was thinking they were the same track also. Before I got to compare the two I was thinking to myself about how long the track in the 2nd pic seems to be. Seems like it can go for miles and miles once you make that turn.

Debbie Downer mode - I wonder how long a set of Racing Softs will last on that track. :sly:

i will update my op to post that there indeed One track and nice find you can se the banking at the top ( turning right to the post ) good find!!
 
Awesome finds, great job guys. The length of the banked corned looks insane judging by where the corner starts and it's still going by the tower. Can't wait to drive on it and hopefully it introduces drag racing even though I don't do it.
 
It's interesting to note that every car featured on this track in trailers are going clockwise, while in past GT's, Test Track was always ran counter-clockwise.
 
Why bother speculating, we know it's coming soon, and we know it's gonna be awesome. Just look at it!!!

Atleast i'll know when a quarter mile is up now :D
