Double posting and the GTP app

I've noticed a lot lately that people are double posting, and when confronted on it they always say something about "not able to edit on phone, etc, etc"

I haven't used the app until last week, and barely use it because I'm always around a computer. Does it have an editing or multi-quote feature? Can it be made more accessible so people see that it can be used?

I think with more and more people using the app, the double posting is becoming a bigger issue.
 
It has multi-quote and edit. In fact, I only browse on the app, and I very rarely double post.

Indeed you can multi-quote with the app. You must first tap the blue arrow next to the post(s) you want to quote and choose select. Repeat for as many posts as desired. Once they are all selected, tap the menu button, then tap multi-quote and compose your message as desired. 👍

All done from the app.
 
It's also possible, if necessary, to recreate quotes using the HTML code.

Although my only real issue with the app in general is that bold, italic, underline and strikethrough do not appear on Android, even though they work if they are written.
 
I double post quite a lot by accident. I better not do so in the future as I feel that an infraction might be upon me. :nervous:

On the odd occasion it can be a little confusing when the strikethrough has been used. I wonder if it's possible to be implemented into the app.
Does the iphone app suffer the same fate?

I notice that if I press post twice before it says loading or whatever, I will double post but then I just edit the post if that happens. However my biggest gripe is with people that think they can use "txtspeak" because they are on their phone. This bothers me because I almost always re-read what I have written before I post so I don't get an infraction or make it hard for someone to read my post that may have a different primary language such as the european guys that use translators to read the posts.
