I went through a whole load of various filters, overlays, dilating, brightness/contrast combos and script-fu elements, but every time I came back to the original and felt that the improvement wasn't enough. The original has that 'lazy afternoon' feel about it where the light is soft and the white tones have greater depth.
 
yea he is doing amazing work , sadly he has no gallery :/
